Bad decisions have ruined it. Wasting 2 years on meego and dropping after its first release was main factor. Thats when samsung took over the market by being smart and chosing android at right time. At the same time they were also releasing windows phones, BADA phones.
Nokia ... sticking to just one OS is not enough. Instead of going full windows, they could have dropped symbian and chosen both windows and android as their smartphone OS. CEO being Ex microsfty is just ruining it. Wondering why board of directors not question him for his decisions.

AnonD-7546, 02 Dec 2011they should have supported the n9 to the end first buttonless phone complete touch it would be... moreTrue to the core. Also they have improved Symbian dramatically as well with Belle. Only if they would have stick to it along with Meego, things would have been in their favour for sure.

They need to change their minds now. They really have to attract buyers with good phones and good specifications. When the competition is so tough they really cannot waste half a year and release just 2 phones a year as they used to do before. Samsung is releasing 3-4 killer phones every year with android targeting high end range and mid range. And they are releasing identical phones with windows OS. for example galaxy S2 and Focus S. So if nokia just release one phone and wait for it to be a hit is not a solution. I being a nokia lover did not like the lumia considering its price factor. Cannot make video calls and no card support and 3.7 inch screen. I can easily get HTC titan instead if i prefer windows OS or i could wait for Galaxy nexus android phone which have much better features.
            come on nokia !!
