1) Nokia must start producing more mature looking phones and less of these multi-color toys (take a sample from Samsung Smart phone's design)

2) Nokia must immediately add Adobe Flash player to all windows smart phones! ( it's idiculous that every Samsung Smart phone has it and Nokie doe not)

3) Battery capacity must be much larger and so does the phones's screan size.

seriously i have never seen people having wp7 devices in their hand they even introduced n8 dubbed iphone killer but instead it killed itself.
n8 isthe half of the price of iphone but still no one gave a look to it.
lets see wat wp7 can do but i truly have faith in nokia.

Rotten Core!! GSM Arena ------thats a very derogatory way of describing some brand. I can bet my last dime that if that happens with Apple(*COUGH*), you will be extra cautious about what you post.

It handily beats out Android and iOS. People would complain about the moderately-sized apps in it's market but tell me this, who uses more than 30 apps? WP7 market covers everything that everyone usually download. Compare Android, iOS and WP7 side by side and you'll see how Android and iOS pales pathetically.

Lol nokia's market share will increase now. The gsmarena has reported without counting the sales of nokia windows phone. Reports are that nokia will sell almost 2 million lumia windows phones by the end of january next year and counting. Nokia will also open the floodgates of windows phones of various ranges and ship in volumes next year so i see no reason nokia's market share will dip next year. When the windows 8 will be released it will have the same metro user interface as that of windows phones. So people will be familiar with windows metro interface. And there will be deeper integration as well. Windows phone os is one of the smoothest and unique . I find the tiles not boring its pretty lively.

Elop gave reasons 4 not goin 4 Android. Most important 1 was d fact dat Google denied 2 give any edge 2 Nokia over other manufacturers 4 customization of Android. So he took WP for Nokia. But his patriotism 4 Microsoft is such a open n naked truth. He is making Microsoft strong. Any Idiot CEO would have gone Nuts 4 promoting N9 like products after such an overwhelming response. Now, Wht d 'F' edge Nokia gettin over others? None. LUMIA 800 like products might help sales but 4 sure not going 2 help to regain 1st position. Nokia will remain where they are now. 2012 is really critical for Nokia. Some stunning products may save Nokia or else 2012 may not b d end of world but start of d end of Nokia. After destruction of Nokia Elop will get fired or resign himself n join Microsoft.

there was a time when nokia generated craze among cellphone lovers but i m astonished to hear tat nokia is failing in its homeland. as far as i know nokia has good hardware but lacks only on OS it would be great that nokia adopts android on its handsets and it would rock.bcoze IOS and android are doing good in the smartphone market.

nowadays i see more BBs and iphone than nokia

note: after reading this ppl wont agree and deny the fact.

Honestly, the best thing they could do now is return their investor's monies and close shop.... or get rid of Elop.

Seems that nokia's time has gone.earlier, when nokia made best smartphones,no one thought of its downfall. Also the android is not gonna continue 4ever.even i dont love this os but i'm still using it bcoz of the the highend specs used in phones having android and the apps that are available for this os.this os will probably see its downfall within 5 years.

i don't reccomend meego as primary os for nokia only, coz the development is not running very well i think. also i think nokia should eat their pride of being the former top selling smartphones, burried symbian and embrace android os, or be neutral like samsung that had wp7and android (i don't mention bada coz i think it's dying as well)

i say nokia should stick to wp7, but also be using meego and symbian. and also not let the n9 be the only one of his class, but to make other meego devices but with different stuf like qwerty keyboard and front facing camera, and also make skype available for it :D

i think nokia should use wp7 as their primary os, but also make the upcoming symbian and meego software available, and not let the N9 be the only one of its class, but to make other devices, like meego on a device with qwerty keyboard or stuff like that, and ofcourse many other improvements like front camera
