anyone can getta concept buddy but the world needs those who can able to implement it.. samsung the great. love you samsung..
I see there's a lot of hate from Nokia fanboys here.
Just to remind everyone to get off your drugs and come back to earth.
This was in 2010:
And this was in 2008 !!!:
I also saw DELL and LG presentations. All are trying and investing heavily in R&D and it's the right way to do it! And Samsung didn't copy 3D phones or in some poster's instance "dildo" phones just because LG and HTC made them. And Samsung also made a pico projector phone, but I guess it was not accepted good and they didn't go with worldwide sales.
as usual, Sammy boy copies NOKIA'S ORIGINAL CONCEPT, (AGAIN). Search Nokia kinetic phone on Google and you'll see. what's new? if nokia and apple were to make dildo phones, i'm sure Samsung's gonna go "ME TOO". WTF. GET A LIFE SAMSUNG.
In the future we apparently dont need a powersource for out smartphones.
and camera modules are made invisible.
and there are no antennas.
Or not, back to reality for a while, the future wont look anything like this. too bad =(
indeed very inovative, but where is the battery compartment , and most importantly what about the 3.5mm headphone jack ?
i want this i dont care how much it is.. well i do care about how much but still i want this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet Apple will file ANOTHER lawsuit on this soon. What do you think?
I think SONY already has a transparent screen , not sure about the flexible part though.... here's a link about the cellphone that has it
Nokia, 06 Dec 2011Nokia Released the first flexible phone in prototype in the nokia world 2011 meeting this year... moreAre u crazy?? It is not possible to make something like this in a month, also they showed a prototype if this in an event a year or two ago.
Hey guys, Samsung already had it in a 4,65" device at WMC 2011 February in Barcelona.
laxis, 06 Dec 2011Flexible and transparent screen is nothing without flexible and transparent battery, cpu, ram,... moreVery good point! The only obvious answer would be to put everything around the edge of the screen, but then you still have the battery problem, it would have to be very thin and would not last long.
Nokia Released the first flexible phone in prototype in the nokia world 2011 meeting this year, now samsung just stole their idea, samsung should be ashamed of themselves !!!!!!!!
Flexible and transparent screen is nothing without flexible and transparent battery, cpu, ram, gpu, motherboard etc.
Nikotiko, 05 Dec 2011Agh I wouldn't like a transparent phone so everyone can see my confidential SMS conversations ... morehaving in mind success of social networks, transparent screen allowing everyone to see your intimate info will be insane market hit. And all people who do not like to "share" will be considered old-fashioned paranoids. Anyway i see a symbiosis between those high-tech displays and ordinary newspaper :-)))
Nowhere-near-feasible vaporware concepts are a dime a dozen. GSMArena, please don't squander my time (yes I know it's "news" therefore you report it - but do call it what it is / ie. isn't).
