This is how phones should be. "Getting rid of the bezels" is a stupid thing to waste time and resources on. The "notch" and "no bezel" trend is plain out stupid. Focus on practicality not on B.S.

Carol, 21 Dec 2018To each his own. I understand you love overpriced chinese phone with outdated design
Nokia need to find some of the design flair they had with the Lumias. Granted, colourful polycarbonate wouldn't translate well for a sleek flagship but for some of the mid-range offerings it would be fine. The Lumia 930/Icon is still one of my favourite looking phones of all time.
I saw Rus·sian rou·lette on the back panel xD
I'll be fun watch how much they ask for that dated design with an SD845, Probably more than new ones with a modern design, SD855 and 5G... It will be bought by the four cats that they still have as blind fans, but no more. And the camera software will still be far behind the competition.
Nokia d king can't wait
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2018Outdated SD 845, too small, five cameras. Who needs five cameras? Me.

Many on here seem to be complaining about Nokia 9 using SD845. While I personally don't mind and will buy it either way, I have a feeling the issue Nokia/HMD mentioned they had with the camera running (which was supposedly the reason for the delay), might have had to do with the performance ...if so, then maybe the Nokia 9 does use the SD855, in order to solve performance issues.
Carol, 20 Dec 2018Why is the hardware not relevant to 2019? Because it does not have 855? It is not even out, yo... moreThe design is extremely outdated for a flagship device. That whole display part that you're looking at and using 100% of the time you use the phone. The internals are also 2018.
Your train of thought that they should stick to their guns despite falling behind months and years on schedule is exactly what brought the original Nokia down. Phones that were rather brilliantly built, just launched years after they would have been considered brilliant phones.
Outdated SD 845, too small, five cameras. Who needs five cameras?
Snapdragon 845? Seriously...? Old before its even released....!! Anything released in 2019 should have 855..!!!!
Not an Iphone user, 20 Dec 2018father is coming back!Your left left you? That's a shame. At least you have hope of him coming back.
father is coming back!
Whackcar, 20 Dec 2018If this phone launches with SD845 in 2019, then it'll be a flop for sure. The same thing happe... moreCompanies are to big and too slow to actually do this. Plus they work with too many subcontractors. Despite the fact that they all use high performance computing equipment to "design" the damn stuff and use the same ultra-fast Internet to order the components that they need. They can't design something today, and change things tomorrow.
Only small R&D studios can do that.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2018Not to mention that there are other things to distinguish yourself from the rest of the pack. ... moreThe ideea is good, but how much would you pay for such devices?
