The meaning of "720p" is your SCREEN RESOLUTION is 1280 X 720 pixel! NOT video recording resolution! The 1920 X 1080p 30 fps video resolution is standard (and must) for every dual core smartphone today(well except for Moto Atrix 1)

Big internal memory is a must if the phone supports for HD and have a big* display because a 90min BRRip is almost 12-15gb(avi-1080p) and i'm sure that most of the owners will be looking forward to play a muvee in their smartphone rather than texting and calling...Removeble storage support is a plus...But for me it's a must...

i prefer both 16/32 internal and card.
u need a lot of space now-a-days if u are to utilize all its features, especially the HD video.
                    also, prefer 1080 versus 720.
                    is SE pulling a motorola?
everyone's going 1080 and the SE flagship has 720?
also the duo core versus what many speculate will be a quad core year?
man, SE has to do better than that.
samsung already has such phones almost ready to hit market.
i will admit the 12 MP shooter is nice.

I'd rather have 2/4 GB internal + 16/32 GB card.

Cards are good because you can reuse them between phones and save $$$. I also reuse my old microSDs in USB key drives.

Besides, SDXC will have 2TB cards soon :P

simple user, 07 Dec 2011i still do not get the idea for multi-core cpu for handheld devices (especially smartphones). ... moreThey use multi core processors to have a smoother performance but some aren't really contented though the phone is functioning just right. I don't know why they're like that and are still feeling unsatisfied though they know that it performs the way it should. Why multi core? to join the competition maybe. But I find it quite unreasonable. If the phone does the job and is equipped with ample power, then that's it. So this new member of the family's 1.5GHz processor should not be feeling afraid.

I guess, that would be enough and to some are more than enough. The huge internal memory is better (well it's there) compared to those phones having a quite small internal memory and with a card slot. Card slot is useful IF the user upgrades but the user usually don't maximize the phone's capacity given that it can accommodate a larger capacity card, because he just relies on what is free out of the box. Some do upgrade but that is seldom and not common to a lot of users.

i still do not get the idea for multi-core cpu for handheld devices (especially smartphones). What is the purpose? Why not make super-efficient design that saves power for longer period between recharges?

For god sake.. NASA sent men to the moon and back several times with combined computing power of fraction of those devices!!! that is insane inefficiency.
