Blankman, 07 Dec 2011Fair comments about iOS. It's just better. Android works fine on high end phones, but I've... moreYou can only compare Android High-End evices with iPhone, cuz iPhone sells only High-End. If you would have an iOS device with low hardware... well then have fun :) Like iPhone 3G with iOS 4.2.1. really smoooooooooth, right? ^^
Nick, 07 Dec 2011Quite possible that Android is on top of iOS in pure numbers. But, after having had two Androi... moreAll people talk about lags... All talk about iPhone havig no lag at all, not true. Any by the way, the only reason for iOS being not so laggy is its UI Hardware acceleration, nothing more. ICS will offer a UI Hardware Acceleration, this will boost Android and its dual core devices much more than any Apple Device can be capable of. AND THATS REALITY, iOS startet it, I accept that and envy it for that, but Android is in functions just better as of right now and near future. People have to understand, that things change and who once was good aint good right now, like Nokia.
Back to android for me.Bought the 4£ and its the most boring device ive used.Horribke customisation and being tied to itunes is terrible. All of them look the same and the software is looking so tired.Took mine back and got the note.Very happy a totally different poece of kit and having divx support and bluetooth and expandable storage is a must.My 4s battery was terrible and the signal was rubbish.
first understand the limitations and Advantages between the other OS, then talk about the platforms, Android is good OS but not up on iOS or Windows 7.5 Mango.
Fair comments about iOS. It's just better.
Android works fine on high end phones, but I've had a number of crashes (which not even my old Symbian had).
Do u know anything about APPLE n Steve Jobs ....
So your reaction to apple technology is just to say Android OS in on the top of iPhone OS(iOS) not more...
am i right???
then your doing was exactly like a baby when is drinking milk.Be careful to don't sink in your milk.
More power to Google...and i have 4 android devices...all of them are working fine and smoothly no issue so far...Thank you Google.
BlacKcaT, 07 Dec 2011to start with im not an iFanboy or android fanboy, but how many android devices are out there ... morewell, this is an advantage of android, not something to be used against it. no one forcing apple to produce one phone a year (1 phone in 18 months for iphone 4s). and no one is forcing apple to not sell its OS to other manufacturers. its all apple's decision and here comes the android openness.
Nick, 07 Dec 2011Quite possible that Android is on top of iOS in pure numbers. But, after having had two Androi... moreI own a Andriod phone, HTC desire s and a Widefire and both of them work flawlessly, no freez no lag.
it seems your a ifanboy or you had 2 faulty devices.
Thats the real reality...
BlacKcaT, 07 Dec 2011to start with im not an iFanboy or android fanboy, but how many android devices are out there ... moreYOU say its unfair...but its just that what Apple wants...to be the sole manufacturer of Apple products. They dont want to license the software.
So why is it unfair?
y r we comparing iOS which is an operating system available in only one manufacturer's device with an operating system available in so many manufacturer's devices around the globe?
what does being on top mean for BIG -G (Google).....if whole android thing doesnot produce as profit as some of the I-OS SOFTWERE DEVELOPERS????
Quite possible that Android is on top of iOS in pure numbers. But, after having had two Android devices, both of them experiencing software issues such as a very frequently freezing menu, I purchased an iPhone 4S. I have to say, the comparison between Android devices (no matter from which manufacturer) is very far fetched and not realistic. Apple knows how to build a mobile device that does not squeek, cracks and always works. Sorry guys, that' reality.
to start with im not an iFanboy or android fanboy, but how many android devices are out there competing against 6 iphones and two tablets? not fair,
