sheik, 02 Apr 2019Huawei rock! P20 pro is great!please what phone do use?
If what has happened in 2018 is any indication, the future of smartphone will be driven primarily by the Chinese tech companies, not by Apple or Samsung, starting in 2019. This trend has already started in 2018. But 2019 will be the year to see this new reality fully emerge. New players, not yet known and not yet seen, will be most welcome.
Samsung and Apple no longer view each other as real rivals. Facing the onslaught from Chinese tech companies, both Samsung and Apple are under stress and starting to show fatigue. I think both companies will not be able to keep up with the Chinese. 2019 will be the year to see this new reality emerging.
FreezeGame, 03 Jan 2019Thankfully this list is based solely on GSMA's website statistics. It holds no merit in regard... moreEven if so chinese phones will always outsell and outpreform Samsung Sony Apple Google LG etc.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2019I note that there is not a single iPhone in this list...
Well garbage and junk and other crap has been put out of nomination.
I am glad for that.
Time when apple stop making phones like 5S and SE are gone and anything else apart those 2 had no chance.
Even in top 100 they had no chance to be ranjked on the list.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2019Why sony is not in the list?Because noone would pay 400 bucks for junk and garbage there are only real smartphones not jewelry for extra cost with nothing sspecial.
Alien, 01 Jan 2019I'll take the Note 9 or the S9+. The rest is pure wannabe junk.
Who wishes for a china brand?? Everyone.
Samsung is just costly junk with No value for money.
I am glad there is no Iphone or Sony.
I am also glad that Xiaomi dominates.
But why Poco is on lasts ranks???
It should be top.
Thankfully this list is based solely on GSMA's website statistics. It holds no merit in regards to factual worldwide data.

This is just some internal popularity on GSMArena site.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2019I note that there is not a single iPhone in this list... there is no need to note! fortunately for you I have the ability to see
Most popular normally means best selling, which means best value for money, hence none of the most expensive phones are on this list. No Sony, Google or Apple.
