HMD creates phones i mean brings all the research and ideas and Foxconn manufactures them.
Its same like before nothing changed. Not even an inch of old Nokia brand changed.
CptPower, 05 Jan 2019Well you cant expect miracles from an 80 euros phone :-)It was 100 Euros when I bought it.
I didn't expect miracles. I also didn't expect to be scammed into paying that amount for something completely useless. It gives the impression that new "Nokia" cares as little about their customers as the old Nokia.

I got the Nokia as a spare to be able to use my apps when it was in for repair. I wasn't expecting blistering performance but it was a lot worse than I could have imagined. It was a mess just to copy music files to it over USB. The storage controller is so slow it constantly failed, I had to copy one folder at the time to avoid getting a lot of half completed albums... :P

Then i am sorry well you can buy a better phone for more money or if you havent that for spare you can buy any good used phone in good condition as an equivalent.
For example i use my Moto X4 as a daily driver. Dont have any other phone now.
Brand new Moto X4 costed me 400 euros in my country bought first day it was available for sale.
Now it can be bought for like 220 up to 270 euros depends on shop you bying in.
But used ones in A condition are for sale from like 120 euros.
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2019Nobody in US care about android anyway. IPhone all the way!! No one, except for the 60% majority?
CptPower, 04 Jan 2019Man Nokia 2 have the android go edition, thus should work very well.
Dunno what you speak about. It is slow as heck, takes several minutes to start LastPass the first time, takes what feels like half a minute to start any app, it crashes any background app running 99/100, a lot of the other apps even crash due to lack of memory when running in the foreground. The SD card support was a half lie, it doesn't seem to support exFAT so it doesn't support native 128GB cards as the specs claims. I had to reformat my 128 GB Samsung card to be able to use that card.
The display is decent for the price. The build isn't bad. It's just the whole thing with actually using it...
It might be Android Go in Asia but they're selling it with full Android in the EU.

Picture is misleading. A phone with those size dimensions and display size will definitely have bigger bezels than what is shown.
Which is fine but the picture is still misleading.
Mohsen72, 01 Jan 2019Lumia 1020I mean in the high-end units like Note 9 and S9 and on iphones.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2019It's an entry-level model, of course it comes with entry-level processor.Apologist is strong in this one.

Samsung : hold my beer

AnonD-621054, 01 Jan 2019another 7870 waste of money 3 year old chip in 2019 It's a cheaper model, how could it have a new flagship SoC at this price? There are plenty of flagship phones, so why are you angry? Should nobody in the world be allowed to buy phones for EUR 150?
You spend all day long yelling at telephones on an internet forum, you should see a doctor my friend.
