yeah everything is so hard for sony these days when it comes to phone . . . their phone designs suck, their hardwares suck, their softwares suck . . . yeah blame it on ericcson

Hey Sony Ericsson soon to be called Sony. You are a big company and you have the fund and resources to do it. I'm sure all other smartphone go through the same process you just mentioned. So explaining is a good thing, but getting the much needed update at a later time with your android phone is not an excuse. Maybe you hired the wrong people in your company.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2011Android = bugs, force closes and unstable. That's what I've learnt after owning 4 android phones :)Create back up>> format the phone>> upgrade software>>restore backup>> there you go smooth as new with new software plus the old save files, programs, data braah...braaah...!!

XDA can do it in 2 weeks??, so why that XDA programers that work for slam-slum cant give ics update to all galaxy line up??, ok use custom rom??, and the wifi stop working, only recieved 2 g signal, Dellay in accelometer, Application crash and Bla2...

That's good considering that in all company that was part of android program, only S,E or Sony,, has their own customization, timescape Different UI and others, while the brands Samsung LG Motorola HTC have almost the same UI, no wonder why it takes time for them to release it in their device, and the certification and testing it really needs some time, we understand it as their products are reliable compared to others,,
hhmmm,, maybe that certification and testing thing are the reason why X8 and X10 minis didn't get that 2.2 updates, so how come my X8 still working great after rooting and installing froyo?? ow! thats almost a year! by the way ill wait for Ice Cream to be release for my arc S, cheers Sony!!
