indlvarn, 04 Jan 2019Shame on you Huawei. This phone has clear problem with a screen and you're still hiding! If you read up the green hue problem occurred when they first released the phone turns out it was the suppller namely lg that supplied the screen panel and possibly the glue used to fix the screen into the phone I have had the mate 20 pro for around 18 months no problems with the screen
The screen issue is sorted. Repair or replace your phone. Also the fingerprint tech is not going to be super fast super amazing as the tech for under screen fingerprint scanners is still in early phases. Get a grip people.

ProJames-CHM, 04 Jan 2019That's still a quality issue. Who knows if this issue exacerbates over time...My Mate 20 X doesn't have this issue.
Still a solid phone for 1 month of usage.
My Mate 10 Pro has updated to Android 9 and also had a camera update. Big difference. The camera software is now the same as the Mate 20 Pro. Also the navigation system is a massive improvement, and there are other things like I now have four volume settings instead of three.
For those Mate20 Pro users, if your phone display has problem, please sent it to the nearest HUAWEI authorised service centre to get replace or repair.
I can guarantee that HUAWEI sure will take responsibility for that.
ProJames-CHM, 04 Jan 2019That's still a quality issue. Who knows if this issue exacerbates over time...i believe it will, that's not normal, remember some of samsung s7 edge hade a pink or purple line, i encountered that, with one of my device back in 2016 at the egde of the screen, its a factory failure, it will damage the device overtime, i wouldn't recommend buying this device until they fix it.
great phone, but with green light at the edges no thank you, to fix it i have to adjust the brightness in the dark, no thank youl, for the price of this device and the way huawei and their fans idolize this device, it shouldn't even have any complications but when samsung, sony, lg etc have any issue, then they explode lol (joke)

The only way you see Green glows on the edges of the screen is when u maximize brightness in a totally dark room. Your eyes will be screwed with that malpractice. Set the brightness to 0 in a dark room without a night light.
i regret getting this phone, the display fingerprint is slow like my iphone SE and the display is showing a little of green, shame on you Huawei !
