The Pixel showed it could have benefited from a tad more or a better software rollout. I want Moto to update their devices quicker. But this phone looks good, especially if it is priced at $350

I love moto phones and moto modes I am willing to buy the G7 but they are overpriced Now there are a lot of phones which give better value for money So I'm confused

At least they removed their useless secondary cameras. The worst is that the main one will be miles behind any good one from competitors. Good for the few ones that still their old mods at home. Ugly cases for those that doesn't use them.

This is a hard choice between the P40 with 48MP camera and SD 675 processor, but I have tons of moto mods to use though.

I'm okay with this. Why? With the G series expected to get the 660 or 675, this phone may get the 710 or higher. They bought back the headphone jack (seems to be catching on as Sony may be bringing it back too). Just throw in a respectable battery (3750 mAh should suffice), 6GB RAM, 128GB storage with two SIM slots and dedicated microSD, better camera with OIS, dual speakers (please Moto, use the bottom speaker grill already) and $350 price tag. It will sell like hot cakes.

Glad they kept the shape and mod pins, but it is reported that the phone is a bit longer, compatibility with previous mods is key here.

Hopefully next year is the year they'll change their design, and users who bought the Moto mods won't mind. We can't stay like this forever

And why does Moto think notch haters will buy it because of the minimal notch? Notch haters hate because they can, not because the notch is a problem. The people who shout loudest about what they need in a phone are always the last to buy such phones when available. They do not wish to learn, they do not wish to buy, they only want to speak.
