Anonymous, 09 Jan 2019According to the ITU, it is 4G. They were just late on recognition. http://www.itu.int/net/... moreCalling it 3.5G is better similar to edge being 2.5G. The whole "can be considered" part is a bit vague.
Im about to leave their company in 2days. So they want to offer the 5g in Q3 and guess what? Its actually 4g. Goodluck for their customers.

Well in first 2-3 years a real 5G network will be a 4G april foolish joke on most customers.
I can honestly say not even 5 or up to 10% of a global population will have a real 5G network withing 3 years.
Everything else will be a joke called marketing advertising.
Not long ago this same company(T-Mobile) launched HSPA+ as 4G. Now they have the guts to pull this stunt.

I love it when companies troll each other. This was a good move by T-Mobile, as the public will side with them in ridiculing AT&T's illegitimate move.
