sohail shafayat, 09 Jan 2019What's this Good for? This is a useless piece of shit!Like the notch? Useless but everywhere eventually.
To sell 1 million units, the device needs to be really useful and there should be a real reason to buy a bending phone.
It should provide something that is not provided in a normal phone but shouldn't be another gimmick.
meh... its far more cheaper than iphone 7+ ... they gonna compare it with iphone 7 .....
CptPower, 09 Jan 2019WoW calling a 1 million units a limited availability is like a joke. And the price 1350 as we... moreFor that price they will easily sell 1mill devices. I guess you haven't seen iPhone Xs Max price.
ooo yeah, problem is after a few years usage of folding u will end up having 2 phones LOL
CptPower, 09 Jan 2019WoW calling a 1 million units a limited availability is like a joke. And the price 1350 as we... moremust be a typo, i be suprised if even 100,000 units that would be alot but 1 mil ?!
That's not the future jet for this kind of devices...sens there is not jet flexible enough hardware/electronics.
Perhaps is better ffor this companies to build armband smartphone with at least 4.inch screen...
If they only make 1M units, and sell it at only $1350 it will sell out instantly and go for double that on Ebay. The crummy top of the line iPhone goes for $1300.
.alpha, 09 Jan 2019The Royole FlexPai is already on sale in China and don't have Samsung's problems. https://www.... moreMay be you could do yourself a favour and read the link published before posting it. The review says it's ackward and unfinished. And priced $1320 for a device by a company nobody has even heard of. I can't say Samsung already has a winner, but I am sure the benchmark could have been more competition worthy.
Yeah Samsung!! Not a bad price for a fordable... I can't wait for it to come out..
CptPower, 09 Jan 2019WoW calling a 1 million units a limited availability is like a joke.
And the price 1350 as we... moreSeeing as Samsung sells over 300 million phones per year, I would agree that 1 million is very limited and will sell out in probably a few days (it may even sell out in pre-orders before it launches).

Anonymous, 09 Jan 2019hmmm why don't they price it higher? it became a trend for companies to step on people by givi... moreAre you implying that the Mate 20 is overpriced?
1350$ is better than what we heard before which was 1850$ or even 2000$! I hope it will not be for more than 1350$ and comes with S-Pen then I will buy it
.alpha, 09 Jan 2019The Royole FlexPai is already on sale in China and don't have Samsung's problems. https://www.... moreits a different way of flexing. what is showcased by the flexpad has been possible for a decade now as the bend radius is generous. the problem with it is that you leave your screen exposed even when folded. what Samsung is trying to do is flexing it on the inside which require a very small bend radius/near to zero so that its reminiscent of the action of opening a book and also protects the main screen when its closed. however, the problem with this fold is that the point it turns on itself, there is a lot of stress which could easily break the screen and the glass. figuring out a way to allow the phone to not break, and unfold without plastic deformation nor fatigue is what is tough to do.
KamAbdi, 09 Jan 2019But looks like toy and for that it won't break but Samsung here wants to do a metal designed m... moreSeems to be quite different from demo unit we saw here in video. Much evolved. And it doesn't run Spydroid, for good or for bad.
