I would move to the U.S. in a heartbeat as my experiences in 30 states has been nothing but pleasant experiences with a very proud people, during the Trump - Clinton campaign up until this past November. Sad your wife is ashamed of a place that granted her the freedom's she is accustomed to most likely. But we all have our own thought's and opinions.

Espionage are serious charges. Do you really think these 2 get detained for false reasons? As a Huawei's sales director, do you think he will get detained if his main task was just only to sell Huawei products in the public sector? Don't you small a rat happening between these 2?

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2019If you did more research then you would know that he was a former Huawei employeeOne was an employee of Huawei.
The other person who got arrested was a Polish national by the name of “Piotr D” who's an employee of Orange telecom. Here's more information about Piotr D from Polish news:
"Piotr D. was a member of the Internal Security Agency until 2011. In the Agency he was the deputy head of the department for teleinformatic security. When it was canceled, the case was associated with the so-called infoaferą, or corruption at government tenders for large information systems. D. however, no charges were ever made.
A part of the department headed by D. in the Internal Security Agency is CERT.gov, or Government Computer Emergency Response Team, a group of IT specialists who deal with the monitoring of government computers and counteracting cyber threats. Piotr D. after leaving the ABW he worked in UKE (he was the director of the audit department in UKE for the president Magdalena Gaj), and more recently - from 2017 - in Orange.
The company unofficially assures, however, that D. did not have any managerial functions in Orange, did not deal with the network and was not responsible for cooperation with Huawei. According to our information, he dealt with cooperation with the Polish Bank Association and was responsible for SMSs with weather warnings."
Again, do more research. If something happened in another country, read news from that country in their language. Don't expect CNN/NYT/Washington Post/etc to tell the whole story...

Only one was a Huawei employee. The other was an employee of Orange telecom. If you do more research regarding this, there were reports that mentioned the Polish authorities said these arrests weren't related to Huawei (company). The comments in here is embarrassingly full of misinformation and stereotypes. No wonder someone like Trump got elected as president. Too readers are easily deceived by the media.
