At the operational level, these three companies are not related. In terms of market share, the combined market share of these three companies is already ahead of Samsung.
Who cares, wireless charging isn't nearly as fast as wired charging especially like the one OnePlus supports, plus you have to pay a little extra for the feature to be included and also a lot more for a wireless charging pad. Once it reaches fast charging speeds then maybe it'll be worth considering.
Anonymous, 13 Jan 2019Oh yesYep. Also, they don't necessarily need OLED. ULED, if it can be implemented in phones, is a cheaper and longer lasting solution
Shhzd amar, 13 Jan 2019If oneplus adopts everything from oppo then why didn't it adopt the super vooc?Perhaps too expensive?

Really, its such a low price item to include, should be table stakes in this day and age. I've had it more than 5 years. And, as antiquated as it may sound, I also feel that a headphone jack is a need, if you want to produce top end devices.
Shhzd amar, 13 Jan 2019Yup, you cannot even use the phone while charging on a wireless charger, the wireless charging... moreWireless isn't supposed to replace wired. I don't need my phone in my hand constantly. 7hrs every night I sleep, and at that time it goes on the charger.
As for restaurants and bars having it, I think they already do.
Shhzd amar, 13 Jan 2019If oneplus adopts everything from oppo then why didn't it adopt the super vooc? They did, it is warp charge 30 on 6T mclaren edition
For supergreedy BBK corp wireless charging will be next excuse to up the prices again. 30-40$ every half of year traditionally without something new or exceptional.
Anonymous, 12 Jan 2019So, as pointless as wired charging then? Because that needs to be plugged in. Personally, I ha... moreMaybe its useful but not mandatory, things can work even without it, the USB C port wears a lot less than micro USB and can easily get going for 2-3 years...

I guess some restaurants or bars should adapt this technology, if they provide it on their tables it would be extremely useful
If oneplus adopts everything from oppo then why didn't it adopt the super vooc?

Walter C. Dornez, 13 Jan 2019And they should make those great speakers front firingOh yes

HTC should have used that and an OLED screen, the 11+ and 12+ (buttons aside) could have been fully rounded with those slight modifications. They already have epic cameras and epic audio recording.
Anonymous, 12 Jan 2019Agreed. The cost is next to nothing, and almost nothing, relatively speaking.Wonder why more haven't put it in. Like if you're going to put a glass back, you might as well give wireless charging

For me, and anyone else with kids, and anyone that uses USB wired headphones, the utility is fantastic. Had multiple devices get damaged because my kids picked them up at an angle whilst charging. Dash/Warp charge is great, and Id love it. But wireless is so cheap to implement, it should always be included. I like the slower charge for when I'm asleep.

Anonymous, 12 Jan 2019Whilst not expensive, "literally nothing" is way off.Point taken. But OnePlus isn't just as value for money as before. I just feel like their competitors have just been doing better. The least OnePlus could do is give wireless charging

or like pressing a button to start your car engine rather than...turning car key.
or taking to google/alexa devices rather than manually typing your search queries,
or using smart devices to control your lighting at home rather than turning on/off lilghts manually. So lazy.
