I would suggest to head over to XDA devs forum and flash a custom ROM with this update. I'm not sure whether you have a warranty on your phone, but would suggest to read all information before flashing a custom ROM, as it will void your warranty. All the best.

i am from pakistan i have htc desire hd with at&t logo on it, its nloacked, i just checked in but in my software update menu their is only at&t software update option left when i clicked it it will check and say server unavilable, is there any other way to update my fone ??

Atleast now India's turn should come - speaking geography-wise ofcourse! But come on HTC, don't declare an update without giving a clear path by when we should expect to hit our specific countries!!! I am in India, still waiting.

Updated my unlocked, unbranded HTC Desire HD (T-Mobile UK) last night, 227.16MB download. Like the new Sense 3.0 UI update a lot. Hopefully DHD users might get ICS next year as well!
