The screen curvature at the bend is much softer than the small radius of an inwards folding device. Sure there will be some waste volume when unfolded, but why should it become bulkier? I would rather expect it to be thinner folded.

Samsung's foldable phones needs an extra screen on the outside of the phone, and that will make it far more expensive!
I do not think foldable phone will be popular, just as Samsung's curved displays are not really popular, with their annoying glares/reflections and accidental touches, even though Samsung thinks they are! I think Samsung would sell even more flagships if they did not all have annoying curved displays!

Here's a prediction, it will break 1 day after the warranty expires and even then the warranty will not cover any damage done by folding the phone properly. People will hopefully start a "properlygate" and will do nothing but "brag" online about it. Apple will not face any lawsuit, because you know, corrupt ca laws and stuff and it when some other countries file that lawsuit apple will not respond properly and just give the people their money back and take back their products selling them off to some bimbo or thot from la.

I cant with Flexpai-like design. On the bright side other android manufacturer will play around with design and innovate some more on this new foldable tech. Foldables will look pretty by December. Just like how notch evolved so quickly from huge iphone x notch late 2017 to tear drop notch mid 2018 and finally punch hole by end of 2018/early 2019. I wont doubt how fast foldables will change. UD fingerprint sensor also already making their way into midranger. Just 2 years ago we all thought under display fps was impossible until 2020.
