Lyndino, 16 Jan 2019Hey Walter, update on my S8 battery (I know it's totally the wrong thread but still). Not sure... moreIt's generally recommended to do a full backup, factory reset and restore after a major OS update ( like 7.0 -> 8.0 or 8.0 -> 9.0 ). It should fix the issue.

So the S8 which was launched in 2017 and has already had two Android OS versions, is now getting some Pie.

Meanwhile, the A series mobiles launched in .... wait for it .... 2017 have had two Android OS versions and are getting ... sweet FA. So much for the 2 years and 2 Android versions only policy. Go figure.

I have two words for Samsung, the first rhymes with "Puck" and the second ends in "you".
