GO for the One plan that 3 provides.
What I feel is that 3 is doing a very good job because I have checked with all the service providers and 3 is doing the most compatitive deal with the most minutes and is the only service provider that is providing more internet compared to other networks... also regarding the network, day by day the network is improving and the services are getting better and better... :)
Foneseller, 15 Dec 2011er compromises other services for minutes>>> 2000 mins (most on market at price point... moreDon't think that was the point they were making.
Compromises are with the quality of customer service (official surveys and statistics prove this) and any sort of perks/treats that other providers give as standard.
Furthermore, if cost is the primary and only consideration, then why isn't 3 the UK's most popular service provider??
Anonymous, 14 Dec 2011theres a reason 3 is cheap it comprimises all other services to give the most amount of minute... moreer compromises other services for minutes>>> 2000 mins (most on market at price point) 5000 texts (fair usage for 'unlimited texts with o2, voda, orange... 3000)all you can eat data (70gb fair usage) try finding better than that anywhere on the market!!!! close minded.
Ha! Tesco mobile offer the same phone for free on a £45 p/m contract, and they use the same signal as o2
Blimey, who on earth would be that desperate to go for this theft from o2!!!?
theres a reason 3 is cheap it comprimises all other services to give the most amount of minutes to make it seem like a good deal your the one losing out really. shame your to close minded to realise this.
3 is better all u can eat data £35.00 with 2000mts and handset free.... 2 year contratc
or you could just own the phone on 02 for 44 a month on a 24 month agreement or 49 on a 18 month 02 is the only network that doesnt charge for internet even if you only have 100mb this meanss essentially unlimited web
If you're so hard up that you think this is a good idea, purely because its only 12 month contract, then you shouldn't be expecting the latest phone in your hand once a year anyway.
Get a $0 upfront, 24month contract. And like the rest of us, upgrade every 2 years. Who do you think you are expecting a high end phone more often than that.
o2 employee opinion, 14 Dec 2011This proposition is aimed at a select market ie those wishing to renew their iPhone every 12 m... moreWhy not just admit it instead of trying to cover it with vague corporate tosh - this offer is aimed at posers and the desperate who can't actually afford to buy such a desireable and high end piece of kit. It's for those who get a feeling of superiority through having a high end handset (especially an iphone) rather than those who genuinely appreciate it for what it is on a technical level.
O2 are exploiting the stupididty of these people with this 'deal' and I guess to an extent they deserve it, but if you genuinely think this is such an immense deal then you are as deluded as the people who sign up I'm afraid.
What's next? selling your soul!? Just get a phone you CAN afford. And if you really can afford it just get a BETTER phone.
AnonD-8044, 13 Dec 2011add £117 to that £55 and thats my mortgage paid,,55 quid a montha and kids have ip... moreI agree with you mate .........

Anonymous, 14 Dec 2011Tesco do it 0n 12months £35amonth £235 handset 730mins 5000txts 1gb data n unlimit... moreOf course. BUT the point is paying out that £235 in one hit. And that is the point of this.
Tesco do it 0n 12months £35amonth £235 handset 730mins 5000txts 1gb data n unlimited wifi. works out the same price over the year and u can keep ur phone
Anonymous, 14 Dec 2011It IS a CATCH. No one expects to lease a phone. How is that a catch?????
churc50, 14 Dec 2011what catch there is no catch the definintion of lease is to hire, to rent to charter for a spe... moreIt IS a CATCH. No one expects to lease a phone.
Like any service, this isn't going to suit everybody.
But for those who can't afford £150+ (particularly on a 12-month contract) on top of their line rental in one month to upgrade, which is going to be a significant proportion of people at this time of year, and really want the 4S then this has come at the perfect time.
Yes, buying an iPhone outright and going on a SIM-only contract will be cheaper, but who can afford (and feel it is worth it anyway) spending nearly £600 for the phone!!
The only thing is: REALLY look after the lease phone!!
O2 have a £52/Month deal with free phone for 18 months(1200mins) and the phone is yours at the end of the contract. But i guess it will still attract some people.
