The N8 was a flop and they're making a sequel. It's like garbage 1 having a follow up named garbage 2. I don't know about Nokia fanboys but it's still garbage no matter what.
It's better to stay away from Euro garbages rebranded as Nokia phones and I think a lot of people agrees with me.

3.5 inches ? are they kidding. It is very difficult to do something on such small screen.Better 4.5-4.7 with slim bezel.

All Nokia-Symbian haters must stop saying about Symbian 'death'..!! Your mind is dead and that because you don't let it open...
Symbian stop updating for some years but now it's here and fresh,with a lot of support coming (Carla,Donna,etc)..
As for the 803, i think the design is something between 5800+603(or 710lumia).. But we must wait to see it live and not only on paper..
The specs in my opinion is 3,7" (as 710)/ 1,4Ghz (to support Carla & Donna) /12-14MP camera (1080p)..

"sluggish" - agreed due to crap processors and poor OS
"heavier" - stupid comment
"cheap built quality" - in general no cheaper than allot of alternative brands (blackberry has buttons fall off, sony has cheap casing, samsung cheap casing, but again these are all generalisations)
"dull screens" - er...most are using AMOLED screens in likes with allot of droids
"stone-age Symbian OS" - agreed
"I have switched over to Samsung (Android) abandoning Nokia for ever. The future is Samsung." - again a bit of a stupid comment as Samsung is not the future but droid OS is very good. I used to have the Samsung Galaxy S and must say it's the best phone i have used to date...currently back with crappy Symbian on N8 :-(

Honestly, better buy a real DSLR camera than any phones with megashooter
But n8 can live another day. Big sensor, that's premium picture taking experience. Photos are full with quality. No mather any manufature make a big megashooter, bigger than n8 but smaller sensor, n8 is still a winner..
n8 camera technology can last for another 3 years. If compare sgs2 and n8, it is like comparing a 3mpx dslr(bigger sensor is better) with a 3mpx compact camera(small sensor quality bad and wont last a long time). Hence, nowdays dslr cam can last more than 7 years of technology.

i also like belle. i use 701 now. the OS is smooth. the UI is eye catching. its customizable. i dont like meego or windows. its only symbian or android for me

Anonymous, 15 Dec 2011rahter have symbian belle than crappy windows phoneSymbian is basically the same as it was when it first came about (which was brilliant at the point), but they have not kept to the times and this is why it 'died'. I have used all OS's that have been about since smart phones came about and i must admit i do not like the look of WP7 but as a whole it is better than Symbian hands down (although having to use zune software all the time is quite frankly a bit shit).
