China now rules tech/IT and AI,, so suck it up and get over it !!!

At the expense of quality control they rush everything out that they see other brands announce. The broken way android works, with manufacturer initiated security patches and updates, the user's experience takes a backseat just because Huawei is aa afraid of not having a phone with a similar feature as newly-announced-device-X.

Lets hope it will fold instead of braking into two like Samsung device or apple tablet on a Jerry rig everything tests. .
AnonD-784107, 25 Jan 2019Yes because the mate 20 pro just looks so much like iPhone and a galaxy. Really. Lol Let's not put those brands are the light where they are not copies, cause it ain't true.

Most of those were "new" models with rushed changes to copy other brand releases, just like those two other brands you mention.

Spam is when we keep on hearing about a new device with marginal differences with last week's one. Companies like Vivo and Oppo are more likely to go under the definition of spam

That is spam. Putting a different sticker on the box doesn't mean they spam less.

Also, they don't really spam devices. Vivo and Oppo on the other hand.....

They're literally the spam mail of mobile. You even get the spyware with them.

That does not seems rushed?

Walter C. Dornez, 25 Jan 2019Being the first does help set yourself as an innovator. However, I was referring to the aggres... moreWhen you introduce something that nobody is working around nor having plans, nor even mentioned, then yes, you are innovating, specially if nobody came out with something similar in a long time.
When you just "try" to be the first among various OEM with the exact same concept, then you are just bragging. How do we even know if that was their idea on the first place and not something rushed because they saw or heard someone else?
Anonymous, 25 Jan 2019Also going to launch "foldable phone" or with 5g, or both means only copy cats. Not innovation... moreWhy?
You know Samsung had been working on this since a few years back, why would them be the copycats here?
Because they dont launch it first in limited quantities just to brag about?
I mean, do you even know how Huawei operates right?
They launched a "force touch" phone just to beat apple' 6S, they "tried" to steal Samsung thunder with that "hole" display crap, they even start saying that they've been working on a foldable phone just after Samsung told us about theirs. They keep saying they are the first at something when clearly they dont (NPU, 7nm, dual camera, hole display, etc.)
Nick Tagataka, 25 Jan 2019You should know that not everyone is fan of your conspiracy theory.Ask a physician they will tell you all mobiles are bad. And smoking and drinking, and there the first at the bar, lol all BS and mugs buy into.
sanz, 25 Jan 2019yes Huawei will be no.1 because they copy apple and samung and produce a new one(Mate20 pro)Yes because the mate 20 pro just looks so much like iPhone and a galaxy. Really. Lol
