claudiu87, 20 Dec 2011on my Nexus S i 9023( Orange - Romania ) is not available :(how do yo know?
I just installed on my Nexus S ( Orange - Romania ), it's available since yesterday, anyway, google rooles, so smood, so nice, so many changes, I really like it, 10x Android, Merry Christmas everyone.
I saw there is an ota update available last night, as my battery was low opted to do it later now it does not show any update availble ??? :-(
what to do ??
I have installed on my Nexus S, but I there is no faceunlock... is it ok?
Heeeelllllpppppp!!! How can I stop the update. I'm fine with the current version. Please Google, leave me alone!!!!
With the Galaxy S and Nexus S being very similar in terms of hardware the Galaxy S has the tools to run ICS but that doesn't mean there will be an official update from Samsung. But there are plenty of other options, XDA already has a working (ish) rom and there are many other smart arse developers out there.
Now that the Nexus S has an official update I doubt it will be long before someone puts out a stable ICS rom for the Galaxy S, it can't need that much changing.
I got a manual update to ICS......it's awsum!!
This android version is much faster than Gingerbread....my phone feels fresh...and fast!!
Thank you Google!! :)
I love android!!
