I don't understand why some people are interested in reverse/wireless charging, it's waaay slower than fast wired charging!
Still a lot weaker than SVOOC.
Nothing interesting or inocvative here.
ProJames-CHM, 04 Feb 2019They had reverse charging since the S5...There is a dfiffrence between reverse wireless charging and reverse charging . what you said many smartphones have nowdays. but wireless reverse is something new which Huawei started. Samsung adopted. hopefully more companies may follow
So the S10s may become the first devices with wi-fi6. That will be super fast, able to literally broadcast high bitrate 8k at real time. It will also have many orge rtirkcs up its sleeve.

That can ruin the battery with power in and out
I don't think that would work
The last Oracle, 04 Feb 2019The Huawei reverse charging is a joke. It would take a month to charge a phone with that. Good... moreThere is a possibility that Samsung's implementation is worse than that of Huawei.
Let's accept this "NEW NORMAL" where Chinese Tech companies lead the way and Samsung follows in the smartphone space. Of course Samsung can do things that will influence the details of this trend, but it will not impact the general direction itself.
The battery should really be bigger at least 3500 or 4000 for they base model
The new m desire and a series have more capacity
Now we need to find a way to háck it and sŤeal the battery life

If you and a friend both have the S10, but need to charge both of them, but have only one cable, you can charge one phone with the cable and the other with reverse wireless charging. GENIUS!
Paz, 04 Feb 2019Someone can explain me what is ANT+ is?ANT is a wireless protocol for exchanging data over short distances from fixed and mobile devices, creating personal area networks. ... ANT+ (built on the base ANT protocol) defines standardized device profiles that specify data formats, channel parameters and network keys.
ProJames-CHM, 04 Feb 2019Power Share. Reverse charging. Wired reverse charging but still it was here first
Nice try ... moreHe's talking about reverse "wireless" charging not reverse "wired" charging.
I have a feature phone from some years ago that has a USB connector and 4000mAh battery that does wired charging. It has dual SIM, i bought it to use while away on holiday, work abroad etc so i wouldn't have to worry about charging it. Charge at home before leaving the country and still working 3-4 weeks later. Great for keeping in touch.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2019Reverse Wiirless Charging ; Samsung ; CopycatSure, what about the punch hole then? SAMSUNG introduced this sort-of-new cutout first and yet HUAWEI released it first on their smartphone, the HUAWEI NOVA 4, isn't this considered as a sign of copying? I'm not some blind fanboy defending SAMSUNG, I'm just stating an example. So please, don't attack me with a link below your sentence like what most blind fanboys do. Look, everyone does it now, be it the ideas, the design, the camera, and other types of things, everyone copies it. There's a reason why the market is so oversaturated now...
