Huawei made an attempt to simply add bands and send via internet -> and that was quickly shut down by the US government with phony spy allegations.
nik.007, 07 Feb 2019I am sure you can count the number of smartphone brands that you are aware of on your fingers,... moreIn the US you cannot. Sadly Motorola is practically the only company offering mid rangers with the right bands. Nokia is trying but they're not any more price competitive and short some bands.
Anonymous, 08 Feb 2019Premium features? Lol this isn't flagship. You need to pay premium price for premium features. That is! Motorola is asking a premium price at those ranges but without offer premium features. Perhaps because now is Lenovorola more than anything else but without the Lenovo tech.

But people raw device perfomance and you gotta face it that it is overpriced. It would be ok if it was 200 instead of 300. Just look at Poco, isn't it better? You can also have stock experience just by flashing a custom ROM like Pixel Experience

My X4 still not updated to Oreo. Lenovo doesn't care about phones or customers. These are over priced and already outdated technology. Give them a miss.

I saw g7 power Germany got 18w charger. Is it means all g7 capable 27w? Just charger not include due different price?
So Motorola has decided to fight Pocophone, Mi A series, etc with this. Good luck with that
karoko, 08 Feb 2019I trust Motorola than any other Android OEM out there. My Moto X4 got the Android Pie last yea... moreYour Motorola X4 got Pie because itÂ’s an Android One phone.
And guess what, even Xiaomi makes Android One phones. Mi A1, A2, and A2 lite. My Mi A1 is also on Pie (the phone was released with Nougat).
And look at Nokia. All their lineup is Android One.
Moto X4 is not unique in any way.
I trust Motorola than any other Android OEM out there. My Moto X4 got the Android Pie last year while other phones are still stock with Oreo.
Also, I can use GCam port with no issues as it is a Snapdragon SOC and API 2 enabled.
Sorry, no bloated Chinese OEMs for me.
Ugly design, too high price for those OLD components, no premium features or modern features aside the OIS in a single model. But a premium price hahaha. Good luck selling those bricks. It will be interesting to see how many people get cheated to buy these things.
Androidloveralways, 07 Feb 2019Lenovo please kill it quickly instead of slowly & painfully. First time ever since 2008, Motorola smartphone division became profitable in 2018.
Sold 40 million smartphones worldwide in 2018. Highest ever in last 10 years.
Lenovo killied Motorola
