Without the ranting what specifically would have happened/ Good and bad. And how much of a price drop or increase are we looking at?

i love it ......it keeps competition, inovation and at&t from being lazy and give us the same bleep with higher prices cause they would monopolize the United states

WooHoo! Thank goodness this didn't go though. The last thing we need is an AT&T monopoly of GSM.

                  food for thought but...

I would much rather pay another $2-4 a month more but get a perfect coverage!!

Yes no doubt AT&T would have put the prices up but you get a super network! coverage and high speed everywhere.

I live in the UK but i wish O2 and Vodafone would join id pay extra for it :)

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2011Bad news for the companies? Probably. Good news for the consumers? Definitely.I'm actually not too familiar with what was going to happen anymore. Gonna have to research more again. In the meantime though. What would have come from the merge. Pros and cons?

This is why we are going nowhere... This could have been awesome unless At&t was gonna monopolize it all.
Two companies actually going to merge. Forced out. No fair :( and an attempt at the end of innovation is being heavily induced by a certain fruit.
