ARM processor have been here long ago.. so does touch screen display.. and 3.5 audiojack too.. they were all pre-iPhone....

Do people only read the article??
The devices shown are only example devices to show the potential of the chip!
They are not going to be commercial devices and if they look like a iphone or any other device is irrelevant for Intel.

Why bother debating what it looks like, it's a reference design. It is not intended for production and thus it's physical appearance is not really relevant. If any manufacturer decides to use this reference design they will certainly alter its casing to match whatever corporate brand design language they use.

uzernamezz, 21 Dec 2011wow. they ditch the development of meego. yet they make an android?!? traitors.Intel didn't ditch MeeGO, Stephen Elop Ditched MeeGo. Intel is now Partnered with Samsung on Tizen as Feb 11, 2011 spelled the end for the relationship with Nokia and Intel.
I don't see Intel ever getting mobile SOC's right though. Heck a HUGE part of the reason those of us who love Nokia will be forced to use WP in the future is because Intel could not produce a decent mobile SOC for Nokia.
We will see how this plays out but until I see the pudding, then there is no proof here that Intel will enter the mobile computing space in any significant way in 2012

It's good news that we have more and more options to chose from.
I'm pretty sure that intel will do a decent phone, ad least.
As for the aspect..it's not a copy of LG or iPhone..its face looks just like HTC Diamond 2 (the only difference is the metallic silver bootom part of Diamond 2 being replaced by black plastic ). And..oh..it looks that it has that metallic strip around the body just like iPhone 4.. .so it's a copy of multiple phones..:))

The LG prada looks nothing like this phone.
