Markuss, 18 Feb 2019Agree, those complaining are people came from samsung or apple users. Xiaomi devices are easy ... moreflashing rom doesnt change hardware, supported frequencies and networks in china or europe or america or india or etc. is different
meaning your phone will lack support for 4g and maybe even 3g or even possibly wont support cellular communication in your town or country

Xiaomi devices are easy to flash. It doesn't matter if you bought with china rom, you can flash it with global as long it is already available.

Xiaomi devices are wayyy cheaper than samsung devices and they have to cut corners somewhere. They do it in their software, and they're devices are popular amongst developers so experienced users can easily fix what they don't like using root and/or custom roms. Xiaomi devices are not for noobs. Noobs should stick to samsung and apple devices
Anonymous, 16 Feb 20193.5 jack and SD card are you still living in 2010 lol.Useful features that OEMs should not remove at least for now
Ok, this one is a lot better. So disappointed with galaxy s10 antutu score leak.

But apps in Xiaomi cannot. So that I move from miUI to SamsungUI although I like Xiaomi still. I only use Samsung A8 2018 as my daily drive now.
3s, 15 Feb 2019I have Xiaomi from 2016, 3s, and i afree with that, even rhis phone have obly 2gb ram, still i... moreIn three years, have you ever noticed that how aggressive is xiaomi task manager. It kills all the background process. That's how your 2gb ram phone surviving.
MIUI is way too aggressive when it comes to killing the background process.
You see, you think how snappy is MIUI but you don't know at what cost. Many custom UI achieved this fluid experience without killing background process.
Anonymous, 15 Feb 2019Stock android is overrated many people still prefer custom ui Yes that's right many custom UI are good and functional in a positive way. I like the LG G6 UI functionality wise not the look wise but what I said about one custom UI that is MIUI and its a resource hog that's why it keep killing background task. Not easy to use because many useful settings are buried deep into those settings. Xiaomi basically don't want their user to use their phone the way a owner want it to use.
Xiaomi Mi 9 is not going head to head with Galaxy S10
and there is not flagship fight simply because Mi 9
has not MicroSD card slot and 3.5 mm jack !
It is far away behind the flagships, in the dust.

But why those reviews from India for M10 and M20 says that have ads on lock screen, and in Samsung preinstalled apps, like my galaxy. Dont know what software those two new Samsung runs, or is it that just for Indian market, ads everywhere..
Take a look at reviews of M20 f.e.
Same goes for Xiaomi and ads in MIUI on Indian market (or if you set region to that country). Those OEMs become more and more greedy.
AnonD-415644, 15 Feb 2019That's the beauty about Xiaomi MIUI. It doesn't lag.Yup, and doesn't slow down over time.

You pay for what you get. If you think you're going to get a Note Experience in a $399 smartphone, then you're on another planet.
Having said that, I think the price of smartphones is going through the roof. There needs to be a correction.
More importantly, when will smartphones cameras replace the top point and shoot cameras???
