Moosa Mahsoom, 04 Jan 2012thats because HTC phones are using under powered hardware which is not sufficient for the grap... moreI don't think it's laggy because of under power hardware, actualy it's becoz of software, which doesn't support proper dual-core functionality, just see on xda-developers, even recognized developers out there admits this, and yeah thanks to virtuous/Android Revolution devs, they have now provided perfect OC DAEMON, which brings full dual-core support to Sensation, my device flies after flashing that.
This is just a skin of sense 3.5....
I like the Amaze. It is incredibly fast, so you can enjoy the HTC Sense UI with great performance.

htc sense roxxx !!!!!!!!!!!!
Sense UI is brilliant, but it's very laggy, Have tried both sense and AOSP based roms, AOSP is the clear winner in terms of speed, yes Sense UI is the most beautiful UI ever made, but I preffer performance over beauty..even if I install custom sense roms, I de-sensed it, and then I feel the difference, you all will see a difference too, just get two devices, one with Sense UI, and other with Aosp/de-sensed version, you'll notice difference in performance, HTC Really need to removthose extra ordinary bloatwares they throw into the Rom.
i wish HTC would stop putting fugly gradients on everything.
htc sense rocks. \m/
phone geek, 22 Dec 2011i am sure HTC will come up with much better looking version.. this is made up by some stupid p... morethat is one seriously rude comment towards the developers.. yes, it is not official.. yes, you may think that it's ugly.. but saying that it is developed by some stupid programmers is simply rude.. why don't you develop a beautiful one, Mr. Oh-So-Smart?
DAN13L, 22 Dec 2011I think Sense is ugly. Thats the only reason I don't own an HTC. My favorite is Motoblur even ... moreNothing beats stock Android hey.. hmm.. interesting. Im sorry but iOS and HTC sense make it a different experience. I used to have aDesire (normal one with the AMOLED screen) and it was very nice phone. The whole wipers when it rains thing was awsesome.
KurdishCommando, 22 Dec 2011 I once owned an HTC, HTC SUCKS BIG TIME! and there support is even worse...HTC has one of the best support. Their phones always get an update before many other phones. Maybe u didn't really use Sense but my opinion, nothing... I mean really nothing can beat sense UI. It's just getting better and better. People just try using it for a month and u won't be able to use another phone after that.
how did u got new ics on sensation i got xe and no updates available i check every day :(
i think sense ui is boring stock is the best and touchwiz is the second best user interface in my opinion and the reason htc doesnt want to user super amoled or super amoled plus is because Samsung make them and htc too greedy with money to pay Samsung for the part like they did with Nexus One,Htc desire and Droid Incredible in 2010 with regular AMOLED screen.

this looks p. poor tbh...
Hello ppol.... Its been 9 hours with ics on my htc sensation, And its one hell of lot diff. From regular 2.3.4, my battery is still 40% with all usage of games and calls, now the ui is much much more user friendly then any phone i have used, and i really like the face recognition lock it really works like an charm and perfect. And yaa now the phone is fast and snappy. Bravo xda team member mike1986.
LaunchEvents, 21 Dec 2011read even more... its made by a team of developers over at XDA its not official...until the of... moreHey c'mon, I refrained from calling you stupid didn't I? This may be a Sense-d ROM, but the actual leaked Sensation ROM does have Android 4.0 with Sense 3.5.
It is possible that the final ROM will include Sense 4.0. AFAIK only the unreleased HTC Edge and Zeta (possibly others) are tipped to include the Sense UI 4.0
I think Sense is ugly. Thats the only reason I don't own an HTC. My favorite is Motoblur even though but nothing beats stock Android.
big fan of HTC and a big fan of SENSE UI but i cant give up the super amoled amazing colours. super LCD just doesnt work for me. i wish there was a way to run SENSE UI on super amoled devices
What's wrong with you guys?
If HTC didn't produce the SENCE UI for Android, then Goolgle most likely would loose the battle agains Nokia, and Apple. But now. The point isn't in making good things, but attacing as deffence. I'm with android since v1.5. In ny hands had foled a couple of android devices. Like: HTC Hero, HTC Dream, HTC Tatoo, HTC Desire, Desire HD, Desire , Desire S, Huawei PULSE, Huawei Ideos, SonyEricsonXpiria X8, Xpiria X10, Xpiria X10 mini, Xpiria X10 mini pro, Xpiria arc, and Arc S. SAMSUNG Galaxy S, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy S II, Motorola Droid, and .........
Whatc the point. The sence UI is is the most user friendly UI. Compared to other UI's Sense UI can bring everything on the Desktop, and that ultra fast. You can customize it to look and work just the way you want it and need it. If we are talking about speed? It depend on the devices hardware and the android version. And about the battery life? Well, at least HTC gave you the possibility to turn off some options if you want to save some battery juice. If Google really limits the cusomisation on ICS than Shame on you Google.
Now a days I have 3 android Phones. SonyEricson Arc, Samsung Galaxy S II, and HTC DESIRE S. But for everyday usage i use my Desire S. Not for the hardware speed, but only for the SENSE 3.0 UI.
