i have both the razer phone 1 and 2, likewise a note 8 and a pocophone f1. i can confirm that by comparison that gaming phones do make sense especially if with 120hz screen. since refresh rate is said to be relative to response time, touchscreen input is more precise on phones with more than the common 60hz refresh rate. in other words, you are at an advantage in games if your "gaming phone" has 90 or 120hz refesh rate. i hope they still can update the razer phone 1 as i love it better than the 2.
Problem was underestimating the market by not including headphone jack. Maybe if Razer keeps adding features some day they have a complete package that is catering to gamers and not marketing people and the phones will sell.
