I cannot believe the people complaining because they are not the first in the update wave! Talk about first-world problems. You people do realize that you sound pathetic? If being the first to flaunt ICS to your hipster friends is THAT important to you, you seriously need a life.
You will get your update! Be happy and stop complaining about how SE does not appreciate you. They have millions of other customers to keep happy. You are not the center of their universe.

Kudoos to SE for updating all the 2011 Xperia phones.

SE are the ONLY manufacturer to confirm EVERY 2011 handset to be updated to ICS. Of course the newer phones will be updated first, but you will be getting it!
User of a serious range of Xperias (Xperia Arc x2, Xperia Pro, Xperia Mini Pro and an Xperia Ray are in my current lineup!)

Sony, Please provide an update schedule for xperia X10 as well. Its a great phone, but very issue prone on android 2.3.
Please provide the Ice Cream Sandwich update for X10 to fix all the issues it is currently facing...

If the Arc S and Arc are updated at the same time then what will guarantee them that the sale of the Arc S wouldn't decrease???
It is OK as long as they try to update all the device! :)

AnonD-20649, 22 Dec 2011ohh..bt mini pro and live with walkman has the front camera...and who said this that 600Mhz pr... moreit will be as overloaded as the LG Optimus One is (same processor). The only thing that steps down a little bit the update to the 2,3 version can be the RAM, but by the way, custom ROMs run on the x10 minis and the X8, W8.

I use my Ray full two days before recharging it, and it`s battery it`s not even less than 20% after two day of moderate use - it is by far the best battery on android phone I have ever had.

this is unfair!! why the xperia arc is not on the list??? because the xperia arc S is the successor of the xperia arc, thats why xperia arc is not listed in the first batch??? your so unfair Sony if you will not include Us! (xperia arc user) in the first batch!!!

th3d, 21 Dec 2011i dont care much wen the rice scream bandwidth update is coming, but it would be nice if SE ma... morestrange, because I don't see these bugs you are talking about, maybe you have never updated your firmware... 2.3.4 on sonyericsson phones is very stable and virtually bug free, afaik, and so it is Android. As to your iphone praise, you are simply not informed... iphone has its problems too.

oh! why don't se give an update for x10mini/pro , x8. at least 2.3! there are enough phones running late versions of android even with lesser configs. y can't they do it? and also some people has installed android 2.3 on these devices without any problem. why can't they give an official update for these phones?????????
