iOS uses objective C use is something like C++ but apple invested alot on xcode IDE environment which makes it programmer friendly as well.
Your statement on android are typical Apple fanboy's claim which is bias to the core.
I own android, symbian, iOS devices so i know its not true that one is better than the other. Every one has pros and cons.
Android has many music software as well, just that the lower end phone or tablet will have problem running it. Compatibility check in google marketplace serve to inform user whether their phone/tablet can run the software so as to prevent user from buying high end software that don run on their present phone.

That's why there are no good DJ or musical instrument applications on Android, they stutter too much.
There's nothing that can be done about it until Android undergoes a complete rewrite, like what Microsoft had to do with WinMo and Blackberry had to do with their OS.

Because all the apps that opened are running in the same time..so lag a bit is normal. For iPhone, that doesn't seems to happen even if you open 50 apps (just an example) because their multitask is not really multitask, it just freeze the apps in the background..so if you open 50 apps, 49 apps in the background are not running, it is freeze, and only 1 apps is running which is the one seen in the screen. So, if only 1 apps is running, of course there will never be lag, but..BUT...this shows that iOS is not really a multitasking OS. Try to open SGS2 with one app, it will never lag as well, or open HTC Rhyme which have less juice inside, with one app still it never lag. So, iPhone is all about opening one app.

I do have a Samsung Note and an Apple iPhone 4 (not 4s). Overall the iPhone is a superior soft ware experience, but Apple cannot just rely on a Margin only business model. The only reason Android is capturing market share is because iPhone has been essentially too expensive for the vast majority of people who otherwise would have enjoyed the Apple experience. In doing so Apple generously handed the market to Android which is ok, and getting better, for the vast majority of people to enjoy an experience similar to iPhone. Frankly Apple needs to grow up a little and capture a great market demographics. Every Android buyer was essentially an iPhone buyer (forgetting about those that despise the close nature of the OS). My Note is great for document viewing and being a general do all gadget given today's hardware and software limitations. Oh, by the way I also use a Blackberry 9900 for business which is my preferred mobile as I travel a lot and have many sim cards.

Android has many good points, but gaming is currently a win for iPhone for now.

That's right Samsung patented the smiley in 2001, long before the iPhone was around, patent EP1215867 to be precise.

I even asked a Samsung rep why that was and they had no answer.
The S2 still lags sometimes, it's an inescapable flaw in Android.
