I bought a Galaxy SII this October after waiting for the latest iPhone (the 4S) which failed to impress me. Moreover, I own an Apple iPod Touch (4th Gen) on which I had already tried the new iOS 5.0. However, even if the Retina display was amazing, the iOS has always failed to impress me.
I'll be due for a new year by Dec, 2012 by which time it isn't hard to expect Quad-Core processors & much advanced display technologies than the current Apple line-up (who like Nokia have always been behind the competition).
Coming to the main point, I'd like to see some real improvements from Apple without pushing the cost further out of reach. And obviously, if I'll be updating from my Galaxy SII, I'd look out for a better display than this. A better CPU & GPU as well as other specs.
I can't imagine an iPhone with a Super-AMOLED display or a 4.3 or 4.5" HD screen. I'm not one of those brand-conscious freaks who'd end up paying more and still lacking on the goodies that other brands offer. For me, my Super Smartphone should have all the latest features and the best performance. And Apple, through the years, has failed to meet all my requirements!

Nobody cares about iPropoganda anymore, me like others have converted already to better phones with more flexibility and better hardware.
Now I see the sense in function over fashion!

Simply a waste of time for everyone!!! Never ever believe the trivia surrounding Apple. They are not going to release any clues & hints.
Remeber that Jobs ran a very tight ship in cupertino.
Apple likes to do it in style......till then hold onto your pants.!!!

how many rumors did we all hear about the "iPhone 5" which were all rubbish!... bigger screen... NFC.... the only thing people guessed right was the duel core prosesser and that wasn't hard to figure out. only 13 people on the planet knew what was happening with the 4s until a few weeks before launch and apple told rest of the world.. so why the hell should i belive any crap i hear on the internet!!!!

very cheap model.
infact the only thing in iphone for which it was still to be considered in the expensive handsets category was its glass+metal looks.. and now it will lose that aswell....
its good that steve jobs is not there to look at this piece of crap.

Apple has the smallest inventory/catalog of mobile devices compared to other phone manufacturers but they have the largest number of BS rumors that often turn out to be false. I really enjoyed the disappointed looks on many of apple fans when the 4S was announced.
Why not just wait? You might have just bought the 4S a week or 2 weeks ago and now you're waiting for the next iPhone.
