I will not but any more samsung products. Some years later, they would abandon SGS2 just like what they did to us. Shame. Learn from Sony Ericsson. XDA developers can do where paid samsung crappy engineers aren't able to provide. Samsung, we hate you. Mt mind was full of slang. But i controlled myself. Man, so angry. Anyone know how can I deliver my slang to official samsung authority?

SGS1 would get Hardware Acceleration and even if it would be slower without it than on GB, it will get it and then still be faster than before and probably even have less power consumption. I dont get it... Marketing...

Less than 2 years and they consider the hardware too old and cannot be updated? Come on... No one wan your TouchWiz... we jz need ur ICS...Don trick us like a fool and say that the RAM will effect the SGS not to be updated to ICS... Then please explain y the same spec brother Nexus S can get the update?

the galaxy s came in storage models of 8gb and 16gb......so why dont they increase the 1gb allocated for system files to say 2gb?? surely thats a simple solution!!

SE with Xperia Neo and LG with Optimus Black have both inferior hardware and still will get ICS. Nexus S with almost the same Hardware runs really snappy, so Sammy should work to make it work at least like GB, if not better.

Ha, Sammy wants us to buy a new phone? I will buy one, but not from Sammy, thats what they deserve! I love Android, no need for Sammy here. There are so many phones out there, which have inferior hardware to SGS1 and still get ICS... It just a stupid lie, that TouchWiz is so highly customized, like other manufactueres like SE dont have their own customizations... If those of SE are better to bring to ICS, then SE obviously did a better job creating that UI for Android.
Sammy wants everyone to buy their phones every year instead of every 2 years, but instead they will just loose all those customers. Mathmatical it will end with less money for sammy, because they want more...

Galaxy S is the equivalent of Apple's iPhone 4, yet it is already abandoned? Heck, not only is iPhone 4 supported still, even the iPhone 3GS is running the most current firmware. Quite dissappointing Samsung.

Samsung has updated it many times and now finds that bringing ICS+Touchwizz will make the phone useless.
I'm just curious, why people are crying here?
2.3.6 roms are blazing fast and you can add ICS themes and launcher if necessary!
Android is not done for noobs..it's an open source for geeks and persons who know how to use it and make it even better.
If you want a simple updates and a boring OS..buy an iFruit.
By the way, iFruit get many updates just to block jailbreak exploits, nothing else.
