There are already a few in the form of nightlies... Just be patient, its worth.

Oh c'mon Samsung, why bother developing more for GB when you can just work on a CLEAN ICS with no TW, which would run PERFECTLY on SGS... doesn't make sense!

With bada the Value Pack made sense because Wave 525 has less hardware to boast.However SGS even though 1.5 years old has decent hardware even by today's standards,Nexus S with similar hardware is getting ICS.

Oh and for people saying that somehow SE phones won't run ICS without being laggy....
Nexus S, a single core processor phone runs ICS perfectly and smoothly...And as you can see in the video SE put up of the ICS ROM, the device was running flawlessly :)

What about th... more3GS = 30 months old and runs latest apps like infinity blade 2 or garageband and supports latest versions of iOS upto 5.0.1 or so.
SGS = Nexus S = Same configuration almost yet cannot get ICS update due to Samsung's fault lmao. They simply spammed too many versions without even considering future support and now i feel so happy how SGS users who mocked at iPhone 4 last year.
Now 3GS half specs kicks SGS by running latest OS very smooth and runs more graphics and blows SGS into the water and i think iPhone 4 is too much vs galaxy S now so sad.
Where is 18 Month promise of updates made by google ? As usual now they show "ignorant" faces.
EDIT :
Isnt android Open platform ? how come u lose warranty when u install Stock ICS from XDA ? oh w8 android is a locked-down wall garden just like iOS but fact is carriers and OEMs install junk and give it to users but still its open only to carriers and OEMs who ignores phones after one year (***cough***)

A tip for the people who plan on getting a 2011 SE phone:
All Sony Ericsson phones running on Gingerbread 2.3.4 do have a Sweep Panorama camera and whats even cooler is a 3D Panorama Camera :)
There is also the ability to use Swype, make folders, uninstall apps directly from the app tray(Just like the iOS devices). You also have something very cool which is called Facebook inside Xperia, I rarely tbh use the Facebook App anymore because I can see, like and comment on all the status, pictures, music, apps etc updates. Don't also forget that if you buy the cheapest 2011 android phone from Sony Ericsson, you'll still enjoy ICS :)
And just for the heads up, my Xperia Arc's screen is way brighter than the one in the Galaxy S2. Not lying, try it if you don't believe me.

The entire SE lineup from its medium range phones to highest end xperia arc s uses similar single core processors from qualcomm with similar screen resolutions. Thus making the update easier for them. They are way behind when it comes to phones. ICS is optimised for dual cores and SE has single core phones.

This is intresting there is no info abotu Galaxy S + but Samsung says that there is not eaugh memory s propobly according to that it would be the same like with standard S.

Abadi, 28 Dec 2011SE Xperia X10 has 1Ghz CPU why SE didn't release ICS update?????????Well.. X10 have 1Ghz processor... but could its GPU (Adreno 200) and Total RAM of 384MB can support ICS OS software? Plus, don't forgot SE major upgrade its devices that born in year of 2011.. X10 is phone of 2009, it may be as same situation with HTC Nexus One, hardware was too old to run ICS =)
Hmm, what about not for official updates? Wait for CM9 for it? =)
