I would say I like brick phone. iphone 4/5 gens are best iphone design, also iclassic is. and I cannot appreciate any samsung-style phone. I would rather use old nokia or blackberry if there is no small brick phone.

How he perfo... moreHello there, yes i am still using it, it is still the same as i bought 2 years earlier, performance battery everything still the same, Sony quality never disappointed me, it doesn't even lag or stutter. Well listen, i have an always idea or something recently don't understand, why would someone buy a newly released midrange smartphone instead of a last year flagship smartphone and almost for the same price. Regarding to the new xperia 10 and 10 plus i actually think they are very good and competitive, the camera performance of the handsets sounded weirdly good, i wish Sony adopted the pop up camera feature especially in the Xperia 1 so they give them selfs more options with the selfy camera the camera sensor size the number of lenses so they don't make themselves restricted with the bezel size, and as you can see the one side bezel is a one problem that they could have solved.

Ppl ... moreSurely new sensor and processing is better, but if you try using that same hw with just different pixel size(so bigger sensor, same resolution) there is definitely difference.
At least its visible in color reproduction and at night. But useless to compare different sensor tech(sony vs the rest) as it creates big advantage, about as much as aperture+color spectrum+pixel size and samsung lacks at least one of that.

Non chinese have to change their strategy if they want to compete and chinese software is not iOS rip off like old days sure they are lot alike but they have improved alot since the early days and hardware has not only improved but they are innovating as well now its chinese which offers unique hardware and design like pop up cameras, sliders, UD fps, holeless(useless), super fast charging (which doesnot heat up much) all these first found on chinese phones

In theory it should give advantage at higher iso shots, but many factors are involved to change this.
A7R3 with 42MP outperforms A7S2 12MP in daylight and at night too. Both FF from Sony.
XA2+ has 23MP + 29mm2
10 has 13MP + 17mm2
29/17 = 1.70 = 70% bigger.
Go to hands on review and download the snail photo taken by 10 and 10+.
Then go to review of xa2+, download same photo and turn it into 12MP.
Difference is shocking. More details, less noise and better WB.
Sample of xa2+ looks better than flagships from LG, Oppo, Vivo, Motorola and OnePlus.
Huawei has smaller pixels and worse software than Apple, but Mate 20 rapes iphone Xs.
All due to hardware advantage. Software can overcome this difference.
Sadly the selfie and tele of 10+ are isocell to cut costs. Probably UWA and tele of X1 may be isocell too. There is no exmor 1/3.4" 12MP.
Even if the new exmor of X1 has more advanced tech than imx400, still has size difference of 20%. I am not even counting the mono imx412 which is too a 1/2.3" ...
At night will be 1/2.6" against 1/2.3" + mono (1/2.3"+1/2.3"+1/2.3")
Even with newer and better Spectra of 855, X1 will easily lose to XZ2P if Sony gives bionz X with android 10 update.
Xperia 1 cannot record iso12800 nor shoot iso12800.
I will wait next Premium to see if they will use 5040x2160 and 66MP 1/1.5"

Remember S8 is a former flagship with better specs thus increasing its.usage life and I doubt Xperia 10 has better camera than S8 and there are better mid range available which cost less than half of Xperia 10 and are much better

Bionz X is just for Xperia 1. Midranges will get regular software. B... moreEven xperia1 use less resolution and smaller size of sensor, pixel size is bigger however(or about the same for mid range) and aperture better. In combination with better processing you should see improvement, even more in low light.
Finally also tele from sony, though I wonder if 8mp is enough to beat 12mp from competition.
In my case top choices are - super wide mate20pro/X, wide xz2compact, tele mi9(more zooming aside), at least if considering those in comparison tool.
I would compare 10/10+ wide lens with xa2+ as this one seems the best out of xa line.
Hopefully there will be some day also selfie samples in tool with 3D object as head normal and against light, but even back camera needs 3D one for test of blur and one with lights for hdr, even in reviews is not fully tested whole performance so its better to leave final decision to self testing, real life test is more than just sum of all specs.
