Maybe Google inspired of iPhone SE. Use the older SoC aka SD625 its okay till now (The SD820 still has overheat and drain battery issue) but its outdated and how its can get update? Maybe Google can do it unlike other Android phone OEMs. And the last one is price. The price is more matters.
Anonymous, 15 Mar 20192 gb is still fineLol. 2GB is barely enough to keep two apps open, especially if you like using Google's always-on services like Assistant.
These alleged specs are laughable. If true, the Pixel Lite will basically perform about as well as a Nexus 6P. They better sell it for less than $250.
Anonymous, 15 Mar 20192GB is just fine... even 512 Mb in light usage.Dude tell that to Pixel 3 useres, those can't take and save 5-10 pics without their camera app crashes and they lose those taken picures. Or those guys, they can listen to Spotify musics and edit some pictures or keep 4-5 apps open in background. BTW Pixel 3 has already 4GB RAM, I wanna know how can you say 2GB is enough when 4GB can't handle noraml daily usage??
Next time try to geekbench it without Motherboard or battery for more accurate tests
Anonymous, 15 Mar 20192GB is just fine... even 512 Mb in light usage.um..no. Unless you are just using for calls and texts.
3gb is bare minimum now (especially Android, iOS can cope better) and id rangers now tend sto have 3-4gb anyway
Lite my ass this is android one or maybe go.lol hilarious joke about lite
Pixel 3 with 4GB can't handle anything and now they are using 3GB in their phones????? Hopefully no one going buy this Junk and google will wake up and make some decent phones instead of overpriced trash.
xXENDER FREAKXx, 14 Mar 2019Honestly I have no idea what Google is doing right now because that sounds insane (in a bad wa... more3GB RAM I can deal with BUT highly depends on finalized RRPs and SoC. Agreed that they'd need to get their heads checked if they dare to put out a SD625 Pixel. Even if that's gonna be just $100 it'd be FoA.
Also this is assuming if again Google chooses not to widely release these Lite models outside of NA.
hahabb, 14 Mar 2019To be honest, tele photo camera on smartphone is ... just for decorationI get what you mean, but it's certainly much better than digital zoom. That can come handy at times.
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2019Can I get a link to install gcam on Mia1.https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/themes/gcam-pie-t3887991
There seems to be some issues with autofocus, so you'll have to search for a specific port that works fine for you.
Its probably Pixel 3e Lite cheap version (not price wise)
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2019The cheapest modrl 599 or 699 $ :))))) ha ha haWhich is more atrocious than what even greedy apple does... greedy google.. =_='
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2019The cheapest modrl 599 or 699 $ :))))) ha ha haI do wonder, how these companies became sooo big being so dumb. Pixel 3 is often times available at $599. and they want us to pay $400 for single front faced camera, plasticky and inferior processor, rom, camera phone. How ridiculous. I'd not go more than $200-300 depending on configuration.
Honestly I have no idea what Google is doing right now because that sounds insane (in a bad way). I mean, why would u want to release a smartphone with a SNAPDRAGON 625 and 3GB of RAM in 2019? It's an old chipset, and with that being said, I'm very sure there are a lot of cheaper options out there. Heck, even a high-end flagshop with a SNAPDRAGON 820 sounds like a good deal for people still. And with 3GB of RAM? That's definitely unacceptable in 2019, let alone 2018
