Anonymous, 15 Mar 2019The camera is one of the few apps that phones will generally pre-cache automatically.I agree again however any delay is not good enough for me. Instant load or back to the drawing board.

Man i want 64GB ram in my phone and at least 512 Exabytes of storage.

ApplePen, 14 Mar 2019Meanwhile , 4GB ram iphone still tops the benchmark test.Meanwhile my 4GB RAM on Max Pro M1 still beast even comparing with 4GB Android phones. No need high benchmark score.
This is proof that Android is not need much RAM
ApplePen, 14 Mar 2019Meanwhile , 4GB ram iphone still tops the benchmark test.iphone doesn't have real multi tasking the apps stop running in the background and when you switch to them they restart due to low ram capacity as demonstrated by many youtubers

Most of the extra RAM in a phone is just caching backgrounded apps for couple-of-seconds quicker re-launches.
16GB is urgently needed. Even then, 32GB or 64GB is needed for future proofing. However, we also need much faster phones. 8K video capture and future games will need lots of power. 5nm chipset manufacturing process is also urgently needed. We want fast not slow!
MadMel, 14 Mar 2019pot calling the kettle black...the guys is right they too much hypocrisy and you know that, dont try to cover the sun with one finger:)

Every single device and software is requiring more and more power and data processing and unless those things can be 100% fully optimized then we need more ram. Imo, 16GB would surely suffice but I wouldn't mind future-proofing myself with 32GB's... let alone go straight for the 64GB's just so it can match my 64-bit cpu and operating system architecture only if I had the right resources...
And by the way you're wrong, ALL technologies ARE beneficial as they were created for a purpose - thing is they only have to be used the right way...
Ultimate Rugal, 14 Mar 2019Crazy. 8GB RAM is more than enough, this is actually unnecessary. All for the sake of benchmar... moreActually... yes benchmarks aside there's no real empirical evidence that supports the need for anywhere more than 3-4GB RAM on most phones today, precisely the problem.. let alone 8GB upwards.
Almost as if people are running actual VMs on their phones (I sure as hell would like to know what for if they do?) and betting my 2 acres that 90% of the market has no clue what a VM is.
