then maybe if it's happen, the screen part that have camera under it, is dead zone for touchscreen. i belive it's just marketing bs, to make people keep supporting stupid notch, or dead pixel screen design

There are family people, husband/wife that often work out of city/country that needs to be connected with their family whether it's their children or their parents, it's better to have a face to face conversation. You can't always do it at some place and open your laptop just to do this. It's also useful for work communication where you have to survey things and report in real time. Also when you're having a vacation with a group of people, it's easier just to held your phone up and take a picture rather than asking for people to take a pic or set a tripod and a timer just for a group photo.
We might not use it frequently, but I won't hate manufacturers for being stubborn about this selfie camera positioning. Because some people surely need it and it sure convenient for us too when it matters.
Maria, 15 Mar 2019Sorry if I misunderstand you. I just want to know your experience with OneUI. Is it worse than... moreCamera takes distorted photos, no more auto effect, only in editor. Camera interface is like iphone!
Battery life is way worse than it was on android 7.0
And interface looks really childish like an pre alpha android 5.0.
Extra volume during calls is gone on one ui, you barely hear anything outdoors!
Speaker volume is 20% quieter, don't know why, seriously!!!
Also when you use gestures, games and apps that are not optimised for full screen ratio, are cropped to fit.
Dolby atmos is on s8, only for bluethooth/aux speakers/headphones! (the only plus on one ui...)
Hope samsung will do something about this!
Android 8.0 with samsung experience 9.0 was the most stable build from samsung, I respect that! I really hope samsung won't go with that direction when android 5.0 was released and basically ruined most s4,s5,note 3,note 4 phones! Hope I made myself clear!
I am not a selfie person, and I don't do video conference on the phone, when the case I use my laptop because usually there is a presentation involved. This being said, I don't remember when I last used the front camera. Personally I would very much like a version of the Galaxy S10 without a front camera.
We have a fingerprint scanner which dont work with a screen protector bnow we getting another of samsung useless features. Grats.

perfect solution is just removing this stuff. Who needs selfie cams anyway - homosexuals
Not a big selfie fan here, but video call/conference is still a thing for me so I hope they don't totally remove the front cam..
