I was expecting something huge, something revolutionary, and all we got was a giant a** chin (I know there's a stereo speaker there) and a gigantic notch. Same thing will happen this year. How can Google fix their line of phones? Two suggestions: MAKE THE PHONES CHEAPER, so the OP 7 has a competition, and make it actually worth it. Second, STOP intentionally leaking. Yes, intentionally.
Looks smart design I like it. The problem on Pixel 3XL what led me to go for P20 Pro. Battery life and camera. But on the other the Pixel is awesome for latest updates. Will what its like with official release. Please Google put in a decent battery and stunning camera.

YXJyb2dhbnQ, 16 Mar 2019I have never used the front camera on my phone. Ever. I don't need it. I don't want it. A mech... moreThat doesn't meant most other people don't use the front facing camera, it's not just about only you.
I have to say I'm not totally hating the overall design even if it's just a mockup render, I'm okay with the punch-hole camera, the two speaker slits, which hopefully delivers stereo audio, and the uniform bezel design looks fantastic. The rest of the hardware specs should be improved too like more RAM and ROM, and Google should make good use of its new secondary camera.
Anonymous, 15 Mar 2019If people are ok with the S10+, why won't they be ok with this? Its the same designWith a bigger punch hole though.
I can't wait for the regular/non-XL model with design similar to S10e. Just a single camera hole on the front, and compact dimensions! I hope Google can deliver what Sony refused to this year. #fingerscrossed

I don't want it. A mechanical slider or a second display just adds another unnecessary ""feature"" that I'm never going to use.
Why forgo the selfie cam for a full screen, when you can have both? There are so many solutions like manual and mechanical sliders, dual displays etc.
Thicker bezel, notch, cutout... I'd rather have no front camera at all. Make it an ultra-limited edition phone, double the price to make up for low sales, I don't care. I'll buy a modern smartphone without a front facing camera. Not putting the very thing that prevents you from having a full screen display is the easiest way to have a full screen display.
Anonymous, 15 Mar 2019If people are ok with the S10+, why won't they be ok with this? Its the same designThat's a terrible argument. What people are okay with is not the same as what people really wanted.
I'm interested in the OnePlus 7 pop out camera as the most elegant front facing camera solution, so far.
Let's hope Samsung makes headway in the underscreen camera for next year.
Damn! Looks cool and hot and all. But the punch hole camera module looks a bit big than the Samsung Galaxy S10+. If Google manages to make it small, this is gonna be the one to beat.
Adul Al Salami Kebab, 15 Mar 2019I rather have the notch than this, at the very least the notch was in the middle! O_OSame thought~ XnX
Congratulations Google, you won the ugliest phone of the year for the last four years XD
It is possible to hide the cut-out by using transparent OLED with a polarizer film between the screen and the camera module.
The polarizer film becomes transparent and let in light when the camera is in use.
The polarizer remains opaque when camera is not in use, this allows the transparent OLED to behave just like standard OLED and the camera is hidden from view.
Bonus security points because you know when camera is in use.
