I'm a mid-end android user and android somehow can't help but get cluttered and lags a lot. Even with the ICS update, the improvements are not that visible (except for the new font I guess :3)

all nokia unit is single core only but they can manage to compete to the dual core, what if nokia decided to have dual core? it will be mind blowing than you expected. expect the worst from it but dont say it is best if you have it.

1. Android OS is the only OS that has a dynamic non static home screen, iOS and WP7 is basically a static screen that is non taxing on any resource.

2. You've obviously haven't used any high end android devices they offer very little to no lag, and you haven't even touched the Galaxy Nexus as it runs ICS which has hardware acceleration for the entire OS not just leaving it up to devs to develop apps that are hardware accelerated.

Front facing camera, bigger battery. Most other specs are fixed by WP7 requirements.

So it's a mid/high end device, not a true high end. Model number (900) is so misleading. It's a high end only for WP7.X, not for the whole market.

Despite the inclusion of dual core processors, I've yet to come across any android phone that runs as smoothly as IOS, WP7.5, or Meego-Harmattan PR1.2. This tells me one thing - android is poorly coded garbage that is over reliant on JAVA.

The Lumia 900 will also come with 4G that actually works

AnonD-13315, 04 Jan 2012WM 7 is simply outstanding. I am an Iphone fanboy, also an Apple freak, but I have to give cre... moresome of the few fanboy that i respect..

I don't own an iPhone, i don't hate them, i own an android, but i have to agree with you that WP7 is amazing.. the smoothness, the integration, the UI.. simply beautiful.. Android is great if you like to tweak your phones to your heart's content, iPhone is great if you love "IN" thing and games/media.. but if i have to choose a phone to work with, it's WP7.. the lumia is electrifying.. even my die hard iPhone fan GF agrees to that.. what a shame the 800 doesn't have a FFCamera.. i just love that curved screen..

If it ends up with a front-facing camera, then I think it's a pretty big upgrade from the Lumia 800.

Otherwise, it's just a bigger sized Lumia 800.
