Sellers are selling for apporx. $30 on AliExpress which is double the price. Is it worth buying for $30?
IrfanIrfan, 19 Mar 2019Thinking of Buying this.. But don't know how this will work outside China!??sorry but the soundwaves produced by these headphones are region locked, the vibrations that produce music will not verberate to an audible level outside of China as they are at a lower altitude.

The price will tempt anybody to try it at least as spare earbuds. Keep up Redmi/Xiaomi!
They look exactly like my soundpeats - and will cost the same around here - if you up for truly wireless check em out. Chinese stuff, will be exactly what xiaomi is offering, but available international, nice (but bassy) sound and no conection issues for sub 30 (~33$)...and no, I don't get paid for ads ;) It's just that Im hoping for Xiaomi to release stuff internationally and am always searching for competing products that work well.
I've tried the Xiaomi version. Compared to QCY QY29 (which is cheaper) the sound quality is not better, it has weaker bass and the treble is quite harsh. But on the convenience side the airdots win by a long way. Touch control and pairing process is stable and faster than QCY. Now that this is priced for $15, it's definitely a no brainer.

To say that the price is mind boggling, would be an understatement.
A half decent bluetooth earphones with wires, would typically cost double this price.

Redmi is a sub-brand under Xiaomi now and they are supposed to be even more competitive and more value for money.
