Oppo Reno bezels to be almost as thin as those on the Oppo Find X Comments

DrakeX, 20 Mar 2019Wait, what? I thought iPhone X had the smallest chin. No it clearly doesn't. The reason why it appears smaller is due to all the bezels being symmetrical (top, bottom, left, right). On the other hand, phones like Find X have smaller "chin" but it appears bigger due to the side bezels being far thinner (or almost non-existent).

Yes you're still right, oppo definitely lying about their chin bezel i've handled myself both device side by side and iphone x still has the smallest chin, never trust chinese mock-up, if you check oppo vivo commercial they always "Photoshop-ed" the display coverage

for me it's not how thin the chin is, but how the thinness is uniform on all four sides.
that's why I think the iPhone X is chinless, but with weird humongous forehead

The point of an Allscreen phone is that the bezels on the top and sides should be the same as the bottom bezel. THIS IS JUST ANOTHER Tri-Bezelless phone like the Xiaomi Mi Mix. This is not true All-screen. Android companies should've thicken the top and bottom bezels to match the thinnest possible bottom bezel. Follow how Apple did it and do it without the notch or hole punch. Just follow what Meizu did with their 16S.

So how can you say that they can reduce the bottom "bezel" any further? When they already have it smaller than Apple which curves it?

No more talking about chin finally we get rid of it. Concerning the symetry of the phone it will not be affectect a lot with this thin 3.4 mm chin.

Just assume it's not there, and you get a full screen display without any cutouts or punch holes, and the problem of "moving parts" won't matter to you as you are never going to use it

I believe many of the users don't use the selfie camera like me.

i'm all for symmetrical bezel, but not so much on ultra thin bezel due to fragility it impose
"use a case"? then why bother making it thin in first place.
not to mention that "chin" contain ribbon connector or curved screen before ribbon connector that protected by that thickness.
