Sounds pretty interesting compared to Apple trhrottling chips and Samsung much more slower chips than Snapdragon equivalents.
xXENDER FREAKXx, 25 Mar 2019Well theoretically they should, since they've already started producing 7nm ones with EUV last... moreIt's always possible. And whether they just get the one up on Samsung or is deliberate on Samsungs end that is just slacking.
Anonymous, 24 Mar 2019I mean Samsung should theoretically be the first to do this with their euv process. Unless for... moreWell theoretically they should, since they've already started producing 7nm ones with EUV last year. On HUAWEI's side it's more or less a rumor, with people speculating that it might come with it using TSMC's process node, but we can't immediately say that it'll come with it am I right? Of course, we'll see if this is true when the time comes. Who knows, maybe HUAWEI will release it earlier than SAMSUNG, just saying
Tech Expert, 24 Mar 2019To be frank later year's tech of Sd and Samsung outperform HiSiliconSo are you telling me that Exynos 9810 or Snapdragon 845 perform better than Kirin 980 all things considered?
So let me get this.TMSC making the Kirin 985. Why is HiSilicon not making it then. So cheaper CPU me thinks.
xXENDER FREAKXx, 24 Mar 2019So in short, the KIRIN 985 is basically an overclocked version of the KIRIN 980 of some sort, ... moreI mean Samsung should theoretically be the first to do this with their euv process. Unless for some reason they choose not to. Which is just rude
So in short, the KIRIN 985 is basically an overclocked version of the KIRIN 980 of some sort, thanks to the brand new Extreme UltraViolet process huh, interesting. Would be great if other semiconductor companies such as Qualcomm, SAMSUNG's EXYNOS & MEDIATEK start to manufacture chipsets with these too to be honest, especially for those high-end flagships that are going to be launched in the second half of the year
Don Hrle, 23 Mar 2019Try shadow fight 3 on SD820 and then on some newer SoC....i did yesterday. Idk bro, i was playing Fortnite and pubg without lag... I didn't even heard of shadow... Will check that out but there's a fact that old batteries in bad conditions slow down phone.. so maybe that's a thing...
Yay for Huawei, I hope it ooutdoes the Exynos and Snapdragon of 2019 and performs on par with those of 2020
If the mate 30 does not come out before the iPhones it will not be the first (again).
No wonder Huawei goes up and up and up.
In some years they will stay at the top instead of Sammy, and it will be well deserved.
Samsung should be first. Unless they are foolish and don't use it in the note 10 or anything
It's not necessarily the size of the chipset but the performance of the chipset to what counts I reckon. Whether it is 7mm,9mm or 10mm it is how it performs is what is important. Like having a top of the line Mate 20 Pro now without the LTE Bands required to work on T-Mobile and Verizon makes the top of the line smartphone useless in to use in America. Or ,maybe a top of the line smartphone with a great chipset but poor audio from speaker/s or poor antenna reception for wifi and cell reception making size of chipset totally useless. The overall package and performance of components used is what is important.
