I dunno, even an article about mobile glass gets trolls and heated arguments back!!!
I have to say, I'm not always convinced about "scratch resistant" claims with GG... I had a GS1 and by the end of a year or so it was scratched, and I'm pretty careful with my mobiles...
HOWEVER
I do have a GS2 - it's about 10 months old and not a scratch on it AND I accidentally put it on a spin cycle / wash in my washing machine (and guess what - not a a scratch and it still works perfectly!!)
It's never an exact science!

Hopefully CGG2 improved in that area.

Samsung use low quality glas where as nokia use high quality check lumia 800 even if u rub ur key,stone,knife it doesn't get a single scratch bt if u do al dis wid ur sg2 den ur cell wil b destroy n if in doubt i challnge u 2 put scratch on lumia 800

And the best news about it was it was mobile sized, so this corning demonstration seems like there will be an option for mobile manufactures.

They better show something MAGIC! at CES, becoz theres only 2 ways, or be really tought against scratches but less flexible, or flexible, wich will problably be the future, cant be both at same time..

I would like to see corning come up with a very versatile flexible screen protection, IE if say galaxy s3 is to have Flexible or "FOLED", then somthing for these types of mobiles. the future is now, we need flexible screens and within a couple more years, see through components when we reach 10nm

dont be s2pid animatrix apple uses a scratch proof glass on their devices as well. i have samsung galaxy ace that has a gorilla glass but it has scratches all over now but my iphone 4 is still scratch free
