I w... moreI think your opinion is skewed...You say your samsung lcd is good but your mom's led computer monitor has poor color...For your information the so called led computer monitors are actually led backlit lcd monitors only like any other smartphone lcd...No comercial computer monitors have OLED displays as far as i know...

Samsung's tactic.. Releasing 2 ultimately priced over Samsung's p... morejust because a phone has a high price doesnt mean its overpriced, look at its features before calling it that, in fact, use it before calling it that.
an overpriced phone would be the iphone, yes, an easily breakable glass covered, no bluetooth with other phones, annoying battery life phone, NOW that is an overpriced phone, using normal motherboards in a phone and pricing it awkwardly... the only annoying thing is that people actually buy them.
Anonymous, 06 Jan 2012I hope to see something else than those cheap feeling plastic phones from samsung someday. I w... morethe contradictions you state are of personal tastes, so I dont think samsung would change their high build quality or beautiful screens (to most people) for the sake of some people.
I hope to see something else than those cheap feeling plastic phones from samsung someday. I wanna feel the quality in my hand and not feel like i'm using kids toy.
Also samsung need to tweak their amoled screens. For example galaxy note colors look weird, not natural at all. I noticed that same with my mom samsung led computer screen. I tryed to adjust the colors but it was impossible to get natural colors. I have samsung screen also, but this isn't led and this have much better colors much more natural.
Samsung seem to be only company that is worried about Pleasing consumers,an they did the correct choice by dumping Symbian for Android,Android seems now they only software that really helps consumers out,as you can customize these phones, use Bluetooth for sending an recieving data,an also put micro sd cards inside them,an one company as now made there Worse decision ever choosing Windows over Android an thats Nokia,as they use to be the Best for use Friendly phones but with Smartphones they are to way behind Samsung,i had the Nokia N8 over a year an with Nokia choosing Windows the Lumia 800 was to Restricted an got the Galaxy S2 instead an its a Super Smartphone i would recommend to anyone,Cheers Samsung for a Brilliant phone
watchout other phone maker.
Samsung's tactic.. Releasing 2 ultimately priced over Samsung's phone market value.. Both Galaxy Ace Plus and Galaxy M style is extremely overpriced cheap product.
It could be Samsung going to really hit the market really soon. Perhaps some models with extreme packages but with the similar price.
Sammy is releasing those 2 models to calm down the market and hope to be able to create hype during the CES 2012?
No surprise at all!

The Samsung Galaxy Y (both white and black versions) are sold out in most of the malls here in the Philippines.
They are taking over the low-end smartphone market like a storm.
Bravo! Sammy, best wishes
Darkangels6sic6, 06 Jan 2012Why does there always have to be a troll somewhere to start bs? Can't we just be happy? If you... moreSimple, they have an inferiority complex and can't stand the fact that Nokia have failed them by possibly ditching Symbian for WP7 and are now most likely in the IOS camp. gsmarena has always been a haven for Nokia and it's followers from 2001-2009 but now that trend is slowly dying and there are those who do not like or embrace change and have not moved on with the times. The powershift is now very much towards Apple and Samsung with the next key markets targeting Asia/Latin America and Africa.
samsung s2 beats all phones out there Fact and makes iphone look like a kiddy phone
Could you please give the source of the figure of 35M smartphones sold? Samsung has never given out such a number. The actual figure is more likely to be within the range 25-30.
Now time to be more arrogance for sammy, be ready for more neglected galaxy user for sure...
