I think this upgrade is to support a quad-core iPad. By the time the iPhone6 (or whatever apple will call it) comes out iOS6 will be ready. This change is not for a quad-core iPhone, but for the iPad3.

I wish apple to start produce iphone with full apple desktop OS only then their iphone is complete. Right now the iphone is still in "RETARDING" stage. To me it doesn't matter how many millions of iphone is being sold but it's still without flash. I've used the ipad and iphone 4 but when it comes to flash, iphone is just useless. It's the flash technology that is very important as it displays complete and beautiful web pages. No more tiny iphones for me. Steve Jobs used to say iphone doesn't need flash as there is html5. I see there is still no difference on the web display on the iphone.

Apple announced iPhone 4s with dual core 8 months later than optimus 2x,1st dual core phone.
So I think Apple will annaunce iPhone 5 with quad core
8 months later than 1st quad core that is goin to be annaunced by LG,HTC or Samsung

Flair and innovation are the hallmark of a quality manufacturer. Who cares about the dated technology in the SGSII. Huawei will partner with Apple & F facilitate the demise of Samsung. Because it's got the 5inch OLED screen and quad core CPU/GPU. As a phone though...ehhh. Doubtfully, but we wil see. Although I ams so happy that for the first time ever the psp finally has some real tech in it a finally got an upgrade instead of a downgrade..it is horribly lacking. It is slightly thicker than 19mm and has a 5inch OLED....It has no camera flash, no keyboard, and only has 3 hours of constant game play. Wtf? Then like I said no camera flash and a really bad camera. Also that they said the internet browsing on it is no better then original psp's..Ridiculous. If you always have an outlet near you and playing a game is your sole purpose and only purpose. It's good.

Everyone knows the way Apple operates. They are going to string everyone around for one more model year with old technology. Case in point the Iphone 4 Small screen and single core and Iphone 4S with small screen and no LTE! Apples operating system is great but not when it come to there harware. They are always behind other manufactures. And I own both kinds of phones one android and one Iphone 4s. Arent we used to this by now! Come on people wake up! Havent you learned by now ?

If Apple Iphone 5 come up with a Quad-Core Processor, I will think to buy it, but I hope Iphone 5 can change something:
1.Change to 4-inch Screen
2.Bluetooth system available to all brand of phone
3.Apps store's Apps can be over 50% of apps are free
4.The Price can be Cheaper

They have always been goid but never the fastest or most powerfull. The only power advantage it ever had was purposefully waiting half a year late to release the 4s to try and give it a more powerfull gpu than the GS2.
