i am excited as always ..(*sarcarstic*)
SLP, Maemo, Meego and Tizen ..

the key is to never let go ...

One thing i do not understand is why they keep on changing SDK's..
GTK, EFL, QT and now HTML 5 ..

All i want is one good linux phone in the market which if not excels, but stands a change in the market dominated by Android and iOS

Nokia Killed MeeGo but they didnt kill Harmatan UI.. That's going to be used in the future nokia OS for feature phones and probably in symbian too. That UI belongs to Nokia.. So if you liked Swipe you probably will like futuru nokia phones

you could be onto something tho' a merge between the two OS's could be beneficial.

oh well samsung will never learn. this will be a flop just like bada. why not keep with what u know. android a run away success. so lets make a new os. everyone slags of apple at least the whole series of handsets have the same os. unlike samsung every new phone out comes a new os. shame.

It's not going to suceed without an Apps Ecosystem like iOS or Android.

Like Sony the... moreI would like to see too a Panasonic with Tizen, but the problem is that they will make Android smart phones as they said. By the way Tizen should not look as Bada(if you ask me I don't really care, but I think the N9 has a better and cooler UI).

Its a breath of fresh air... Now this is a REAL open source. Most OEM will support Tizen.
