S10e is BEST DEAL for this creap with HEADPHONE JACKUntil recently, Samsung didn't have a notch, now S10 has one, soon they will adhere to the trend without 3.5 jack.
Thing is, if you bought a decent BT headset, not 5$ one, you will be very reluctant to return to wired. The quality of the headset itself will matter more than if it's wired or not. BT ones will be more expensive, I totally agree, but I am willing to pay more for the freedom and mobility of wireless.
And most people just want to enjoy the music, not analyze the sound every second.
As for the manufacturers, lack of 3.5mm jack simplifies their work, gives them more room, so, like it or not, that will be the trend.

Hey at least it's cheap, no wonder so many phones lack the jack.
We keep gobbling it up new phones, and companies think that in correlation we want more phones without jacks

well since it is not possible to buy mi9 in other color then black, I guess I will go for oneplus7 if they offer color, release soon and if they finally get they notification game to where it was 3 year back - so working notifications in status bar + notification LED (I would be ok with AOD too)

The cheapest always wins. And I frankly would rather have that Poco rather than this. You don't pay extra for what you don't want, and they don't remove useful stuff for the sake of more profit.
(But I'll never buy any of these anyway, just in this hypothetical situation).
However, the warranty aspect doesn't apply here, since where I live, I would be forced to ship my phone overseas for repairs. And I don't want to fight if they claim the problem I have isn't a problem for them, pay the shipping and dispute it, go without a phone for weeks or months...

As they announced still no wireless charging and the 3rd camera is rumored to be TOF instead of wide or tele I already decided to jump in the MI9 ship. Will miss OOS and the bigger battery for sure but using wireless charging with wired headphones is a must for me for the office. And waiting for another 2-3 months for even higher price is useless. Maybe next year OP.

Sure, it's no longer front-facing stereo speakers since last used by XZ3 with Xperia 1 being bottom one instead. Still, it's stereo speakers setup on the Xperia 1 ( though it's a hybrid-setup), strengthened by Dolby Atmos Sound, to make sure to make most out of it... Just saying...
