It's preferences amoled is strong I'm some areas LCD isn't and vice versa
Amoled can cause I strain because of low frequency dimming at low light
Has poorer sharpness at equal resolution to LCD because of pentile arrangement etc
Burin in/decay of the display
LCD is thicker , had worse.viewing angles
The crowd says amoled is better but for me personally LCD has far more advantages

Most of the indians love the cheap chinese smartphones with very good hardware and full features. Chinese phones are leading the market here. Maybe you mean that we boycott Apple and Samsung? Because their sales are decreasing here. Yes, we dont want any samsung and apple here anymore bcos they are far too overpriced for very less features and specs and they have the worst cameras and slow UI. They are only good at advertising their products. That's why they sell a lot in the US bcos they can fool US customers... but not us indian, we're far more aware about the smartphones that we buy. No hate dude.

Im not asking for those fancy features of a flagship device. So NO, it's not a Mi9 at redmi price; it's a Redmi flagship at Redmi's price without the fancy features.

So it would not be the same phone with different screens and also since RN 7 Pro will not available globally , a RN 7 Pro with SD 855 and AMOLED would not cannibalise their own sales of RN 7 Pro.So it might be a good sales decision.

One of them, they broke easily, and the other is they look childish and stupid.

Shanti Dope, 09 Apr 2019So the whole Redmi MIUI software team is focused on developing this phone's software, which ex... moreThere is a update of MIUI for Redmi 5 Plus (Note 5 India). it's a MIUI 10.2.1.0, and some random users got that update last week, i guess of the users will get same update, when they finish testing. You can look on Youtube, there is a ton od videos for that in the last week. Also security patch is now from march, now battery percentage is inside battey icon, and about visual changes, now navigation keys looks like those from Pixels.. Also, users says that phone now feels faster, and have even better battery life, bud like always if someone have problem after update, first back up, then factory reset of the device. Good luck

And what is the purpose of this one against a Pocophone 2? What differences? Design? Price? Because now Redmi phones are made of plastic and crystal... will Pocophone opt for metal? Wasn't Pocophone supposedly to be the cheaper powerful one? Too many doubts.
