Anonymous, 10 Jan 2012what!? no Xenon FLash?!!? FAIL :( I was hoping for Idou successor! Now I need to buy N8 :/Fail? Yep. Samsung Galaxy S and S2 failed. HTC Desire, Sensation (XE,XL), EVO, SE Xperia line, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix, RAZR, iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S (and many other phones) all FAILED because they lack Xenon flash hahaha. Seriously dude. Not everyone wants/needs Xenon flash on their phones.
dijkstra, 10 Jan 2012The thing with those 12 or 16 MP is pure nonsense, just ridiculous numbers to make the handset... moreYou can't deny the fact that most of the people runs behind the MP figures only. BTW, Arc had one of the best sensors, Xperia S will have better. Period.
It's not quite out yet, so battery performance couldn't have been tested in the real world.
Provided the screen size and the processor, I think this 1750mah battery will also perform somewhat similar to what other phone's battery is performing.
I agree with the comment about 12MP camera. Those who know little about Digital Photography, will know that these huge numbers don't matter
almost bored with "S" syndrom
now Experia S
just wait Lumia S, Torch S and Defy S
i hope this phone comes with very good battery, look at its thickness
[deleted post] the front facing camera is capable of 720p video calling... I like the idea... japanese has more technology prowess that you think..
Strange why this guy from Sony is saying that this phone has two HD-kameras
This is a very good idea from sony ericsson but try to slim you phone a lit bit we love the slim once to
Looks pretty awesome. It should really come with a card slot, but otherwise great. Luckily there is a decent amount of storage.
Anonymous, 10 Jan 2012My DSLR have 18mpx APS-C sensor and 1080p video recording facility and uses 4GB CF card, but i... moreNot really. Most smart phones have to run at higher bit rates. Those gigs get eaten up pretty quickly. 12mp, 1080p, not to mention all your own music, movies, and music videos. They really should have a card reader I think, but at leat they are offering 16GB and 32Gb and nothig less.
Sony must be a little sore about losing the memory card format battle with SD so they are opting for cardless phones :)
gilbs72, 10 Jan 2012What's with Sony Ericsson's (or Sony's) new design concept?!! I love my xperia neo, and the ar... moreIt is monolithical design language by Sony, the opposite of political decision.
[deleted post]My DSLR have 18mpx APS-C sensor and 1080p video recording facility and uses 4GB CF card, but it enough for what I normally do. So, imho, 16GB is more than enough for a smartphone, unless you collect and install all application and games on the market, of course...
AnonD-12118, 10 Jan 2012I've seen many phones with 720x1280 resolution,
cant they just make it full HD with 1280 x 80... moreHey yo.
HD Screen not mean HD video recording. How many phone with HD Screen do you know?

Ravi, 10 Jan 2012Is the display size 4.3inch or 4.6inches as given in the other article? It's a different phone. The other one was ion, with have 4G and is exclusive for AT&T, have a big screen and I think it's it.
i would say good phone speck for 2012 but not the best, there will be asus padfone with tegra 3, Samsung galaxy 3, and iphone 5 in top , away alot better than lumia 900 from nokia with ''only 8 mix cam and single core '' the worse for the phone
non ics out of box
